#1 The Sharks, before getting into this current three-game skid, had won five games straight. What’s the reason for the change?

#2 The Sharks have to be one of the most frustrated teams in the NHL right now. They’ve lost three straight going into tonight’s game in San Jose and are expected to be one the toughest postseason teams in the NHL.

#3 How bad is it that all three of those consecutive losses came from playing on home ice?

#4 Their loses have come on close games by one goal and last game on Sunday was no exception. They lost to the Arizona Coyotes by a goal 4-3.

#5 Mary Lisa tells us who she likes in this match tonight between Anaheim and San Jose. The puck drops at 7:30 pm at SAP Center.

The Dons (12-1) were led by Charles Minlend with 19 points, and Frankie Ferrari with 17. Jimbo Lull, USF’s 7-foot junior, hit double figures in rebounds for the first time in his career with 15; he also scored 11 points. Matt McCarthy added 10 points for the Dons.

It was the Cardinal’s first game at USF in 23 years, the first game on the USF campus since 1987, and the 68th meeting between the schools. Stanford leads the series 46-22.

#1 The Barracuda are coming off a two-game split against the Tucson Roadrunners in games from last Friday and Saturday. The Roadrunners got a 4-3 win against the Barracuda on Saturday.

#2 The Roadrunners Jordan Gross scored the game-winning goal with two minutes left at 18:06 in the third period. The Roadrunners were on a mission on Saturday as they weren’t going to cough up that game.

#3 Jeffery Truchon-Viel scored the Barracuda’s first goal of the game–an example why the Barracuda don’t waste too much time to get on the scoreboard first.

#4 Talk about the play when Keaton Middleton, who had the puck only to lose it to the Roadrunners’ Trevor Cheek, a crucial goal for the Roadrunners at 3:20 in the second period.

#5 The Barracuda host the Colorado Eagles on Thursday. The Cuda had trouble with the Eagles earlier this season, can the Cuda get past the Eagles on Thursday?

#1 On LeBron James saying in the referring to NFL owners, “They got a bunch of old white men owning teams with a slave mentality.” Although LeBron apologized, some people say they know where he’s coming from.

#2 LeBron said the 21 Savage lyric: “We been getting that Jewish money everything is kosher” on his Instagram post and apologized for what he said on his show The Shop on HBO.

#3 LeBron said this about the mentality of the NFL owners, “This is my team you all do what the hell I tell you to.” What did LeBron mean?

#4 Even after apologizing, does LeBron get a pass for what he said on this subject and that what he said deserves further discussion on what did LeBron really mean? Going forward, will LeBron have problems with the reactions from this?

#5 Does LeBron need to get off social media? On the program Speak for Yourself on FS1, they said when he goes on social media “he’s drunk.” Does LeBron go too far on social media and his show The Shop?

#1 San Francisco 49ers (4-11) safety Marcell Harris said his late hit on Chicago Bears (11-4) quarterback Mitchell Trubisky was not intentional the hit drew an unnecessary roughness and sparked a brawl that saw 49ers’ cornerback Richard Sherman getting ejected from the game plus two other players.

#2 The Bears are noted to being one of the NFC’s best, a first-place team in the NFC North Division and heavy favorites to be beat the 49ers at Levi’s Stadium on Sunday. They did that 14-9, but they had to be concerned in the first half as the 49ers captured the lead going into halftime by two points 9-7.

#3 The Bears scored two touchdowns, shutting out the 49ers in the second half. The key touchdown for Chicago came in the third quarter with 4:14 left in the quarter when the Bears’ Jordan Howard carried for a two-yard touchdown to get the Bears over the top for good.

#1 Cal (5-6) got a 88-80 eight-point win over the visiting San Jose Spartans (3-8) on Friday night at Haas Pavilion. Is this a measuring stick for both teams that they’re rebuilding and both have improved?

#2 The Bears’ Darius McNeil led with 22 points. It was his season-high. Morris talks about the kind of season that he’s having.

#3 Andre Kelly finished second in scoring with 21 points and 10 assists. Morris talks about his efforts this season.

#4 The Bears certainly didn’t want to lose again after coming off a loss to Fresno State 95-73 (9-2) and the Spartans were coming off a loss to Stanford (6-5) 78-73.

#5 Cal’s next game is at Haas Pavilion against the Seattle Redhawks (11-3) in Berkeley at 5 pm on December 29th. Morris tells us a little of this up and coming game.

#2 Bobby Hield continues to lead the Kings with 28 points. He’s been a huge impact player in the Kings’ success.

#3 What does that say about the Kings to overcome an 11-point deficit in the fourth quarter and come away with a five-point win? The Kings were down at one time 19 points.

#4 The Kings’ Anthony Davis with 26 points and D’Aaron Fox with 19 points. Both these players are big contributors each night.

#1 The Boston Bruins (20-12-4) took care of business with a 5-2 win over the Nashville Predators (22-13-2), First period goal from the Bruins Patrice Bergeron (10) and a third period goal–number 11 for the season.

#2 Columbus Blue Jackets (20-12-3) got a 4-3 win past the Philadelphia Flyers (14-16-4) Zach Werenski gets his sixth goal and Cam Atkinson gets his 21st and 22nd in the one-goal win for the CBJs.

#3 Florida Panthers (14-14-6) get a 2-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings (15-17-5). The Panthers got a first period goal from Mike Hoffman (16) at 3:09 and Evgenii Dadonov (17) at 17:21.

#4 The Montreal Canadiens (19-13-5) got a 4-3 win over the Vegas Golden Knights (20-15-3). For the Habs’ Phillip Danault got goals three, four and five for a hat trick.

#5  The last place Los Angeles Kings (13-20-2) picked up an overtime win over the San Jose Sharks (19-12-6). For the Sharks, it was their second straight loss after winning five straight. The Kings’ IIya Kovalchuk scored his seventh goal for the overtime winner.

#1 The San Jose Sharks (19-12-5) came into SAP Center with a five-game win streak, but took a 5-3 two-goal loss to the Winnipeg Jets (23-10-2) on Thursday night.

#2 The Jets’ Nikojai Ehlers got a hat trick and scored the tie-breaking goal to help the Jets get a road win in one of the toughest places to play in the NHL, San Jose.

#3 The Sharks’ Evander Kane said after the game Thursday that the Sharks made a couple of mistakes that they would like to take back.

#4 San Jose outshot Winnipeg 34-13 and the Sharks outshot the Jets in the  period 14-4, but still the Sharks couldn’t figure out the Jets goaltender Conner Hellebuyck, who stopped 41 of 44 shots in the 5-3 Jets win.

#5 The Sharks have a matinee at SAP Center with the Los Angeles Kings (12-20-3), a 1 PM start. The Sharks will be coming off a tough loss and will battle to get back in the win column.
