There is no doubt that the Golden State Warriors needed LeBron James more than the Philadelphia 78ers. The future Hall of Fame player chose to sign a two-year, $8 million deal with the Philadelphia 76ers. It is not money anymore; he wants to compete and challenge himself into a role that could lead to a championship for his new team, in this case, the 76ers.

The Warriors are facing a lot of pressure to maximize Stephen Curry, their biggest star and future Hall of Fame member. Curry had a wuiioet season and recovering helaht, not havbing LeBron James now rthey they are in a rough situation as they play in a very tough Western Conference, with such team as the Thunder, Spurs, Nuggetts and Lakers, just to mention a few, the patch for the Warriors is not much more complicated than a few days ago, when they was still hope of LeBron James by the bay..

It is simple.If the Warriors could have paired LeBron James with Stephen Curry, that would have put them in championship contention right away, but it was not the case; some say: it was not meant to be. In the meantime, the most spoken-of Warrior in recent memory, Draymond Green, is finalizing a new commitment after declining his $27.7 million player option.

New Orleans Pelicans forward Trey Murphy III is a primary trade option, and many expect the Warriors could be making available their first-round draft picks to make a deal with the New Orleans team. This shows potential, and it could happen, but the Warriors have to consider drastic adjustments, maybe Michael Porter Jr.or even Alperen Sengun. They might be “close to desperate,” but nobody can deny that Warriors fans were highly disappointed, as their hopes were high on a LeBron Stephen duo taking the team once more to an NBA TITLE.

And that’s the way the ball bounces!

LeBron expected to sign with Golden State; Superstar decides on Warriors over Cleveland

#1 Sources say that LeBron James is believed to be putting the Golden State Warriors as his first choice. Western Conference NBA general managers believe that LeBron will stay on the West Coast over playing in Cleveland. LeBron’s top reason having the opportuinty to play with Warriors star Stephen curry.

#2 LeBron played with Curry during the 2024 Olympics and won Olympic Gold medal at the time LeBron praised Curry saying he was happy to have him as his teammate and that it was everything he aspired to being on that team with Curry.

#3 The Warriors can make some cap room to free up some $6 million to get LeBron to sign with the club. Draymond Green opted out of the last year of his contract that was directed at taking even a pay cut so to make roon for LeBron to join the club.

#4 Adding onto it Curry had made moves to pitch to LeBron to get him to sign with Golden State as Curry stated during the American Century Golf Championship golf tournament.

#5 The source went onto to say that it would be LeBron’s dream come true to play with Curry if not he could return to Cleveland and retire in front of his Ohio fans.

#1 LeBron James may not choose Golden State as his landing place as it was dicussed that LeBron might play in San Francisco after LeBron announced he was considering going back to Cleveland to end his career.

#2 Bill Simmons writer for NBA Central on X said that LeBron is certainly going to Cleveland.

#3 The Cleveland Cavaliers, Philadelphia 76ers, and Miami Heat are the top teams on LeBron’s list. The biggest team of discussion were the Cavaliers because it’s a homecoming and he has a good working relationship with Cavaliers assistant general manager Brandon Weems.

#4 Charles Barkely said that if LeBron were to choose Golden State or Philadelphia he would be ring chasing but going to Cleveland would be a natural for him that’s where it all started and that’s where it should all end.

#1 LeBron James who is looking for greener pastures after leaving the Los Angeles Lakers was given a warm farewell by Lakers governor Jeanie Buss. Where will LeBron go he was rumored that he could go to Golden State.

#2 For years Anthony Davis (who is now a Washington Wizard) and LeBron were asking ownership at the Lakers to bring in a center. So as soon as LeBron left the Lakers the Lakers signed Walker Kessler for four years $130 million which works out to be $32.5 million a season. To get Kessler the Lakers had to trade their 2031 and 2033 unprotected first round picks. Also pick swaps for 2028 and 2030 to the Utah Jazz.

#3 The Philadelphia 76ers just couldn’t wait after getting superstar Jaylen Brown from the Boston Celtics the Sixers are now making a pitch for LeBron. How do you see LeBron being a factor with the Sixers if that were to happen?

#1 David, The Warriors are seriously negotiating a deal to bring LeBron James to Golden State. How serious would LeBron be in considering coming to Golden State at age 41 and would he be the key link at his age to help Golden State chase another championship.

An FBI probe into mafia-linked gambling and sports rigging schemes led to the arrests of Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier and Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups, as well as former NBA player Damon Jones.

According to the NBA, the current players have been placed on leave. An arrest and investigation like this takes months to put together; stuff like this doesn’t happen and come out in a few days.

It would be interesting to see what further revelations from all parties, including players, attorneys, and NBA representatives, emerge in the near future.

Among the many sources reporting early on this story, originally reported by the FBI, which is conducting the investigation, is NBC Sports, which reported that the betting scandal could involve NBA megastar LeBron James. The FBI secured more than 30 indictments tied to alleged illegal gambling scandals, including three former and current prominent NBA figures.

This is not good for the NBA, which just began its 2025-26 season on October 21, as NBC and Peacock televised a doubleheader broadcast featuring the Houston Rockets and the Oklahoma Thunder, followed by the Golden State Warriors at the Los Angeles Lakers.
