#1 Former Oakland Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie was fired on Sunday and not even allowed to finish the season with just three games left. Which scenario would you call this firing an honorable discharge or dishonorable discharge?

#2 When head coach Jon Gruden got on the scene, was that pretty much writing on the wall for McKenzie?

#3 Gruden stated until the last Raiders game in a presser that he and McKenzie got along just fine and there was no problem.

#4 Former Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper is this winter’s top prospect his agent. Scott Boras is still shopping for a team for Harper and apparently the Giants general manager Farhan Zaidi will be talking with Boras during this week’s Winter Meetings. Harper has been touted as a LeBron-like commodity in the free agency sweepstakes.

#5 The A’s second baseman Jed Lowrie is reportedly asking too much in free agency and the A’s might seek free agent DJ LeMahieu. Lowrie is asking for $10 million a year and a multi year deal. LeMahieu could join the A’s for one season at $10 million and the A’s won’t have to worry about a multi-year deal since the $10 million would be coming from his final year of his deal with the Colorado Rockies. Also, the A’s are looking at Troy Tulowitzki–he’s from Sunnyvale and likes that the A’s who are a post season contending team the Jays are paying his remaining $38 million salary and the A’s would pay the extra $600,000 to Tulowitski.

#3 Rourke Chartier–he’s got a future he took a shot in the second period for his fifth point in four games against the Condors.

#4 The Cuda found themselves in front 4-0 and the team never let up this is a team that just simply dominated the Cuda, who are the best in the AHL at 8-1-0-1.

#5 The Barracuda head down to sunny San Diego for a Saturday night faceoff. Marko sets the game up for us.

#1 The Kings got a lot of key help at the United Center on Monday night De’Aarron Fox led Kings scorers with 25 points Charlie talks about Fox’s offense and how he worked his inside game to help keep ahead of Chicago.

#2 Fox told the media post game that if he makes the first three he know he’s going to have a good game and it’s something that he even told Kings head coach Dave Joerger.

#3 It’s been said by the Kings players that their more than just a team their a brotherhood. The Kings have won four of their last five games including their win over the Bulls Monday 108-89

#4 Willie Cauley-Stein has been big on assists pulling down rebounds on Monday he led the team 16 rebounds.

The Cal Bears (3-5) Justice Sueing started off this season on fire but cooled off in recent week and then recovered on Saturday night against the San Diego State Aztecs (3-5) in a 89-83 win. Sueing led the Bears with 23 points Morris and Michael talk about Sueing’s turn around.

Sueing was a key factor in the Bears win over the Aztecs, Morris and Michael talk about once Sueing is lit up he stays fired up during a game. Speaking of fired up after the Bears were handed a drubbing by the USF Dons (8-1) in a 19 point loss last Wednesday on their own home floor the Bears came in fired up to get back in the win column.

Morris talks about Cal’s Grant Anticevich, Conor Vanover, and point guard Paris Austin and how these young players will be a huge contribution to the Bears offensive line up.

#4 The San Francisco Giants need to stock their outfield this winter. Especially after their anchor Andrew McCutchen left for the Yankees late last season and Hunter Pence will not be back. That gives Giants GM Farhan Zaidi plenty of work to do.

#2 Foster’s girlfriend Elissa Ennis said that she lied on the witness stand regarding the last assault charge by Foster and that he indeed commit domestic violence charges against her.

#3 Like 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan before her, Ennis says that she couldn’t believe Foster got picked up by Washington just a short few hours or in less than a day after he was released by San Francisco. Joe talks about what it was like for the people who knew Foster well that he got picked up so quickly.

#4 Quoting Foster’s girlfriend Ennis on lying on the witness stand, “Love will have you doing things that’s not in your best interests,” she said. ” . . . I did what I had to do for the person I love. I thought that he would change.” How disappointing was it for not only Ennis, but for the 49ers that Foster didn’t change?
