On the Raiders podcast with Tony Renteria:

#1 Tony, two weeks ago the Las Vegas Raiders were collapsing they were on a five game losing streak with them scheduled to start a two game road trip in Denver and Seattle all looked bleak until they had break out games resulting in overtime wins in Denver and Seattle.

#2 Tony, when you saw Raiders quarterback Derek Carr nearly broke down after the game after a home loss to the Indianapolis Colts was that a moment of reckoning for Carr and the Raiders that they mad and they weren’t going to take it anymore?

#3 Also owner Mark Davis had head coach Josh McDaniels back after the fifth straight loss and fans calling for his head. Was it a matter of Davis is not going to fire McDaniels and be on the hook for the rest of his salary or he still had faith in McDaniels to persevere through those tough times.

#4 Tony, the Raiders as now have no chance of making the post season at 4-7. The Raiders would have to win the rest of their games and finish 10-7 that’s six consecutive more games and wins to get some daylight.

#5 Tony, Raiders and Chargers as the Raiders return to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to face the Los Angeles Chargers (6-5). The Chargers just got by the Arizona Cardinals last Sunday 25-24. How do you see the outcome between these two teams.

Raiders Beat Seattle In Thriller 40-34

The Seahawks got up on the board early, at 14:32 in the opening quarter. Kenneth Walker 111 rushed for 12 yards and the touchdown. The extra point was good and Seattle had the early 7-0 lead. At 9:24 the Raiders tied up the game when Derek Carr connected with Ameer Abdullah for 18 yards. That extra point was good and the game was tied at 7-7. The Seahawks would take the lead into the second quarter. A James Myers 24 Yd Field Goal gave Seattle a 10-7 advantage.

The Seahawks extended their lead in the second quarter when Myers kicked his second field goal of the game, this one for 34 yards giving Seattle a 13-7 lead. The second quarter would prove to be a wild affair. The Raiders took the lead at 10:02 14-13. Derek Carr found Mack Hollins for 36 yards and the touchdown. Las Vegas struck again at 8:29 scoring yet another touchdown. Josh Jacobs got loose for a 30 yards romp downfield into the end zone giving the Raiders a 21-13 lead.

With 1:54 left in the game the Raiders struck pay dirt to tie up this game once again. Foster Moreau caught a five yard pass from Derek Carr for the touchdown and we had a 34-34 game. There was 1:02 left in regulation when Seattle went back to work. The Seahawks failed to move the ball and the game would go into overtime.

At 4:09 in overtime the Raiders kicker Carlson missed a 37 yard field goal. With 1:19 left Seattle was forced to punt and Las Vegas had one last chance to win this game with 0:12 left on the clock. The Raiders all saw a single play for 86 yards; Josh Jacobs tore up the field to score the winning touchdown. This was no doubt the craziest game with an insane finish that we saw this weekend. The final was 40-34.

It was a terrific game for the Raiders. Derek Carr threw for 293 total yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. The Las Vegas receivers had a banner day. #1 Dave, San Francisco 49ers (6-4) quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo threw for four touchdowns on Monday Night Football in Mexico City. It was quite a night for Garoppolo as the crowd was behind Garoppolo all game long.

#2 Dave, this one was special as it was the first NFL game played in Mexico City since 2019 and the fans were into it as Garoppolo had opportunities to throw against the Arizona Cardinals (4-7) defense and helped run up the score for a 38-10.

#3 Running back Christian McCaffrey carried seven times for 39 yards with no touchdowns at it was a relatively quite night for McCaffrey but you just never know when he’s going to bust out.

Las Vegas Raiders Davante Adams (17) and quarterback Robin Carr (4) are in a pretty good mood after Carr connected with Adams on a touchdown pass in Denver on Sun Nov 20, 2022 (AP News photo)

On the Vegas Raiders podcast with Tony R:

#1 Tony, first the win for the Las Vegas Raiders it had to be the weight off the shoulders of head coach Joshua McDaniels and the players after going on a three game losing streak that seemed to take forever for them.

#2 Tony, talk about the Raiders walk off touchdown they got from wide receiver Davante Adams who caught a 35 yard pass from quarterback Derek Carr for the overtime win Sunday.

#3 Two weeks ago after a very emotional Carr took a 25-20 loss to the Indianapolis Colts very hard in a post game presser it seemed in that moment that the dressing room regrouped and in practice everybody seemed to be on a mission and they just wanted to stop the pain of losing games.
