SF 49ers podcast with David Zizmor:

#1 David how much will the MAGA hat of San Francisco 49ers Nick Bosa wore after the 49ers beat the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football have on the team it’s been the drum beat of social media and has taken front and center. Some criticize it’s alright that he can wear the MAGA hat but it’s not alright for ex 49er quarterback Colin Kaepernick not be able to express his protest against racial discrimination. How do you see it?

# 2 The 49ers Charvarius Ward is mourning the loss of his one year old daughter who passed away on Monday. Amani Joy Ward had battled heart issues since birth and even had open heart surgery on Apr 11, 2013. Amani was born six months premature and had down syndrome.

#3 The 49ers have a bye this Sunday how important is that for Christian McCaffrey who just got back in the line up last week and Deebo Samuel who just got over pneumonia.

That’s Amaury News and Commentary podcast:

#1 On the San Francisco 49ers Christian McCaffrey doesn’t look like he has any set back and could be back. Deebo Samuel was seen wearing a oxygen mask leaving the game early talking to a doctor. Amaury no doubt the 49ers would like to see McCaffrey back and hope that Samuel is feeling better both are looking forward to the bye week this weekend.

#2 At some point the San Jose Sharks had to finally end their nine game losing streak and they pulled it off on Monday defeating the Utah Hockey Club in overtime 5-4. The Sharks last season lost their first ten games to start last season and have to be very relieved to get in the win column.

#3 Amaury, talk about how important was it for the Los Angeles Dodgers designated hitter Shohei Ohtani to return for game 3 in New York after suffering from the left dislocated shoulder on a slide into second base in game 2 in LA.

#4 In the US the World Series is pulling a TV viewership of 16 million plus in Japan the World Series is pulling over 15 million viewers so Ohtani has done wonders for the series viewership.

#5 Amaury talk about long time Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez who won the Roberto Clemente Award. The award is given to a player that best exemplifies off field humanitarian service in the community. Talk about Perez his hard work and work off the field and he could very well be a future candidate for a spot for the Major League Baseball Hispanic Heritage Hall of Fame Museum.

San Francisco 49ers podcast with David Zizmor: Major injuries in 49ers line up can they still handle Cowboys Sunday?

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk (11) was injured on this played when he was hit by Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Trent McDuffie (left) and and safety Chamarri Conner (right) tearing Aiyuk’s MCL and ACL on Sun Oct 20, 2024 at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara. #1 San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel was released from the hospital after contracting pneumonia. Samuel was hospitalized at a local hospital. Samuel was in for four plays against the Kansas City Chiefs last Sunday before he left the game and went to the hospital. 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan is not sure if Samuel will be able to play against the Dallas Cowboys this Sunday.

#2 David, talk about Brandon Aiyuk who looked like he was hit in the legs on a play where he tore his ACL and MCL which will require surgery and force Aiyuk out for the rest of the season. 48 seconds into the second quarter received the injury when 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy got a pass between Kansas City defensive backs Chamarri Conner and Trent McDuffie which Aiyuk caught for a 15 yard gain. as Conner and McDuffie closed in on Aiyuk the hit hyperextended his knee.

#3 The 49ers now host the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football for a 5:20pm PT kick off at Levi Stadium. The Cowboys got clobbered in their last game against the Detroit Lions 47-9 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The Cowboys just couldn’t stop Detroit’s offense and couldn’t get any traction against their defense. Considering some of the 49ers key injuries could this one end up being a close game in Santa Clara.

That’s when general manager John Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan went into panic mode and tried to get something worked out with Samuel.
