#1 San Francisco 49ers quarterback Trey Lance has been so impressive in camp it was reported his accuracy has improved in just six weeks of practice.

#2 In recent team drills Lance completed 20 of 22 passes and that was over two days. Lance also has rid of his air mail passes.

#3 Based on watching Lance he looks ready to step into the starting job but starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo could keep his job with a winning season.

#1 Rookie guard Aaron Brooks is yet to get some work with the first team offense in Santa Clara at training camp. The 49ers are hoping for big things from Brooks.

#2 Daniel Brunskill and Tom Compton have been working at the right guard position in camp with Colton McCovitz tell how you see this trio at the right guard position as the first pre season game is one week away.

#3 Quarterback Trey Lance has been looking sharp in practice throwing for 45 yards with a ball over the middle to Travis Benjamin who made a spectacular catch jumping over defender Dontae Johnson.

#4 In practice head coach Kyle Shanahan knows there was good Lance and bad Lance who threw for five completions in practice but turned around and threw for four incompletions. Was that due to focus and non focus issues or not enough experience yet.

#5 Starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo for completions to fullback Kyle Juszczyk, wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, tight end George Kittle. Garoppolo looked ready.

#1 Dee Ford said he’s excited to be back in practice after missing the last 15 games of last season due to a back injury. Ford was offsides on two snaps but was happy to get that old feel again.

#2 Javon Kinlaw made his first appearance in team drills on Monday he had suffered from a swelled up knee from last week. Kinlaw said after practice that the knee feel excellent.

#3 After drills on Monday head coach Kyle Shanahan said that Jimmy Garoppolo remains the team’s starting quarterback and Trey Lance is his back up. Shanahan said there was nothing that Lance did in practice to start talking differently with Jimmy.

#1 Las Vegas Raiders general manager Mike Mayock has tested positive for Coronavirus and has been working from home. Mayock is a familiar figure at Raider practices. Mayock who is fully vaccinated could be out as long as ten days.

#2 Three of the Raiders players including kicker Daniel Carlson was put in the Covid 19 list as of last week and he joins running back Jalen Richard who was on the Covid list as of last week has returned to practice as of Monday.

#3 Raiders head coach Jon Gruden says he likes what he sees out of back up quarterback Marcus Mariota in camp. The kicker is that Mariota has been picked off twice by his roommate linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski.

#4 Mariota said those were the only two interceptions that he has thrown in drills, Gruden added that Mariota threw four incredible passes.

#5 Henry Ruggs was going out for one and caught a pass throw by quarterback Derek Carr who tossed it behind Nate Hobbs and Dallin Leavitt for a touchdown. Ruggs and Carr are expected to be a tandum this season.

#1 Joe, San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch said that more than 90% of the team is vaccinated now he had to work on getting Pro Bowl defensive end Nick Bosa vaccinated as Bosa said he wasn’t amongst the 90%.

#2 Bosa in an interview this week at Levi’s Stadium said he was evaluating the possibility of getting vaccinated right now and hasn’t made a decision yet.

#3 The 49ers entire coaching staff has been vaccinated and if you look at Lynch’s numbers that would mean fewer than ten players are not vaccinated.

#4 Under NFL rules unvaccinated players must be tested everyday and vaccinated players must be test every two weeks.

#5 The NFL also issued warnings that teams could end up forfeiting games if they end up getting outbreaks because of unvaccinated players.

#1 Las Vegas Raiders head coach Jon Gruden said that maybe for five players most of the Raiders staff and players are fully vaccinated Gruden says while he respects people’s opinion he said he’s proud that most of the players, staff, coaches, and front office is fully vaccinated.

#2 Last season you might recall the Raiders were fined a hefty $250,000 and Gruden personally was fined $100,000 during week 2 during a home game at Allegiant Stadium. The Raiders were also fined an additional $50,000 when a non credentialed employee got access into the Raiders locker room after that same game.

#3 Former Philadelphia Eagles assistant coach and offensive tackles coach Eugene Chung was told that he “wasn’t the right minority” Chung 55, a Korean American is speaking out now that he hasn’t had an NFL job since 2017 and is seeking an audience from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell saying the term minority termed by the NFL is a little misleading and wants an another NFL opportunity.

#4 Former Raiders head coach Tom Flores 84, is being into the NFL Football Hall of Fame on August 8th. Flores is amongst a growing community of Latino coaches in football as College Division I has seven Latino coaches. Flores was hired by the late owner of the Raiders Al Davis in 1972 as quarterbacks coach and became head coach in 1979 to 1987. Flores is three time Super Bowl Champion once as assistant coach and twice as head coach.

#5 Aaron Rogers avoided the $50,000 daily fine and reported to the Green Bay Packers, Rogers skipped mini camp, and off season events with the Packers and could be fined $93,000 for those absences. One thing that could be said the Packers are happy to have Rogers back in camp. The Packers and Rogers are still working out details regarding Rogers contract.

#1 You know the 49ers were going to rank in the Top 10 in the NFL for the fifth consecutive year in injury reserve transactions. 49ers rusher Jeff Wilson while working at the team facility in May suffered a torn ligament.

#2 San Francisco 49ers have signed quarterback Trey Lance for four years for $34.1 million and got a $22 million signing bonus. The $34.1 million part of the deal is guaranteed the fifth year will be an option year.

#3 Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo in the past has suffered his share of injuries but as long as he says he’s healthy and is under center winning games he won’t have to look over his shoulder to see Lance standing there in the wings.

#1 Joe looks like the NFL is serious about any players will get fined over $14,650 for unvaccinated players who break Covid-19 protocols. Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Brian Arians is said that he will fine a player on the spot if that player is breaking protocols or not wearing a mask.

#2 There was also questions as to the policy was it from the Buccaneers or was it from the NFL and Arians said “NFL policy, League rules.” Brian McCarthy who is the league spokesman said that it was a league policy. Violating the policy comes with a big price tag.

#3 Speaking of league enforcement Minnesota Vikings offensive line coach Rick Dennison is out as of now because he is refusing to get the vaccine. The Vikings said they were still in talks with Dennison about getting the vaccine and made clear to Dennison about league’s Covid-19 protocols policy.

#4 You got respect a guy like Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott who says he’s all in and want to play as much of the pre season and also said his dislocated right ankle is feeling much better which he injured last October. Prescott said he wants to get out there and get some reps before facing the real deal.

#5 Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Pat Mahomes is coming off season turf toe surgery and says he’s worked on a lot of things in the off season to get ready for three day camp and he’s been running, throwing, and doing his everyday routine.

#1 David on Tue Jul 13th’s 911 call by former San Francisco 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman’s wife Ashley a recording was heard of as those who listened to the call between Ashley and the 911 dispatcher from King County in Washington. Telling Ashley to stop when Ashley was saying Sherman was being drunk and belligerent and when Ashley said this is an emergency the dispatcher said “you need to stop interrupting me so I can get the information I need to get officers expedited.”

#2 Former King County sheriff John Urquhart, defended the 911 on KIRO Newsradio saying “She’s short with the woman because she’s taking control. Any time you’re in a conversation with someone, when someone takes control, that makes people step back and say, ‘hey wow what’s going on here?’ But in this case, they don’t understand why it’s so important, why it’s absolutely critical and it can be life and death. They may be upset with kind of the tone of it. But when you realize all that has to be done, it’s just fine.”

#3 The Seattle Times reported that Sherman has pleaded not guilty to the charges: criminal trespass in the second degree with a domestic-violence element, reckless endangerment of roadway crews, driving under the influence, resisting arrest and malicious mischief with a domestic-violence element.

#1 We never got a chance to ask you about former San Francisco 49ers wide receiver John Taylor and linebacker Patrick Willis who will be inducted into the 49ers Hall of Fame.

#2 Taylor’s numbers were Hall of Fame-esk with 347 receptions (ninth in franchise history), 5598 yards (seventh) and 43 touchdowns (eighth). Taylor gave thanks to the DeBartolo Family and to Eddie Jr for giving him a chance out of Delaware State.

#3 Willis gave it his all at linebacker he was the AP 2007 rookie of the year and in eight seasons was one of the best linebackers in the NFL.
