#1 The Chicago Bears are considering moving to Arlington Heights a suburb of the Windy City to get away from the cold winters of Lake Michigan. They plan to build a new stadium with enclosed roof which would be ready by the 2034 season.

#2 Jessica, Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll insisted that the Seahawks are a ten win team. The Seahawks have a huge hole to fill after quarterback Russell Wilson left to play with the Denver Broncos.

#3 Jessica, former Kansas City Chiefs assistant coach Britt Ried will face up to the charges of driving while intoxicated when he crashed into two cars while going to the Chiefs practice facility Feb 2021. Ried injured two children and one that has a brain injury. The family of Y.A. hopes Ried gets the maximum sentence as the case goes to the criminal phase of the trial.

#4 Los Angeles Rams defensive end Aaron Donald who was video taped swinging a Cincinnati Bengals helmet at Bengals players in the second of two joint practices. Donald was fell to the ground the helmet. Rams head coach Sean McVay said Donald was disciplined for the action but mention specifics.

#5 Jessica, talk about how important it is for the Pittsburgh Steelers to recognize former running back Franco Harris. Harris of course remembered for the famous Immaculate Reception in the 1972 AFC Championship against the Oakland Raiders when he caught a deflected pass in the air for an interception and ran it back for a touchdown to advance the Steel Curtain to the Super Bowl.

#1 Joe, the 49ers are carrying five running backs, four tight ends, and a fullback on the current 53 man roster that’s a lot of offense coming into the regular season.

#2 The Niners had so many running backs that they had to cut Trey Sermon what will his absence mean for the team and it looks like the 49ers didn’t have much of a choice in cutting him.

#3 As of Friday other NFL teams four teams in their backfield had nine players and at tight end. As one basketball team used to use in their motto “Strength in numbers” looks like the 49ers are going with a large number in their offense back field to start this 16 game campaign.

#4 Joe talk about some of the expectations for quarterback Trey Lance heading into opening day next Sunday in Chicago he didn’t look like he got much protection in that last pre season game in Houston but that can’t easily be said because that wasn’t the starting offensive line.

#5 Joe finally the Chicago Bears in the Bears last pre season game starting quarterback Justin Fields got some decent reps going 14-16 for 156 yards and three touchdowns. Looking at the kind of job Fields does finding receivers and give and goes to his running backs how prepared are the 49ers defense in going after Fields next Sunday.

#1 Marko how surprised were quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo teammates when they learned that Garoppolo was returning and not being traded away.

#2 Garoppolo got a pay cut and will be receiving $6.5 million in guaranteed base salary and could earn another $500,000 in bonus money and could earn up to $8.45 million in incentives.

#3 Marko talk about Jimmy G’s reaction to getting the chance to return to the 49ers and be the back up for Trey Lance. Garoppolo said, “I’m happy with the way it worked out.”

#4 Turning to the City of Santa Clara and the 49ers settling on a dispute for a total of $1.675 million for lawsuits. The Niners added another $325,000 to the settlement to bring to the over $1.6 million total.

#5 The settlement wasn’t done without a verbal knock down drag out between city council member Anthony Becker who with four other city council members voted in favor of the 49ers settlement and opposed were city council member Kathy Watannbe and Santa Clara Mayor Lisa Gillmor. Becker told Watannbe to F off and he started in on the Mayor verbally cussing her out. Gillmor called for a policeman to stand in the hearing room and with his presence the meeting ran without any further verbal exchanges.

#1 Former Las Vegas Raiders head coach Jon Gruden says he feels shameful for the emails that he sent that were racist, anti-gay and misogynistic to former Washington Commanders team president Bruce Allen.

#2 Gruden said he’s a good church going father of three boys and has been married for 31 years and still loves football and would like another shot at working in the NFL again adding he hopes for forgiveness and wants another shot.

#3 Gruden has a lawsuit against the NFL saying the NFL ruined his career by making his emails public. Out of 650,000 emails that the NFL confiscated in it’s investigation of the Commanders only Gruden’s emails were made public and Gruden is suing the league for being singled out.

#4 Turning the Raiders as they prepare to meet the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Sun Sep 11. Talk about Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert who has more touchdowns against opposing teams in the NFL except the Raiders who he’ll face next week.

#5 Will the Raiders continue to put the pressure on Herbert and can they keep him running all day?

Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels has been shaking it up regarding players from the former head coach Jon Gruden and general manager Mike Mayock era.

#2 Leatherwood started at the tackle position during pre season under McDaniels. Under McDaniels he felt Leatherwood didn’t improve his technique to keep his job in Vegas.

#3 What’s that old NFL saying Rich about one team’s castaways is another team’s treasures. The Baltimore Ravens acquired running back Kenyan Drake from the Raiders. The Raiders were loaded with running back but the Ravens were looking to boost up a much needed running back group. Drake last season with the Raiders 545 yards for two touchdowns.

#4 Rich, get this wide receiver Devante Adams says he doesn’t want to hang out with quarterback Derek Carr just to look cute but he’s here to win a Super Bowl trophy how impactful are the Raiders expecting Adams to be this season.

#1 Amaury, Juan Soto and the San Diego Padres are in San Francisco. Soto entered Monday night’s game hitting .254 with 24 home runs and 52 RBIs. The Pads are really looking for some big things from the slugger.

#2 Manny Machado is staying way ahead of the pack with his hitting slugging .304 with 24 home runs and 81 RBIs. Machado hits behind Soto so pitchers will be careful what to throw these guys.

#3 The story on the Giants Brandon Belt is a big question mark. Belt has had knee problems and most recently his left knee. He’s had to have his knee drain multiple times and his career is in question.

#4 Turning to pro football Sun Sep 11 the San Francisco 49ers are in Chicago to face the Bears. 49ers head coach will be looking for a winning effort from quarterback Trey Lance. How ready is Lance in this first game.
