On the Las Vegas Raiders podcast with Rich Perez:
#1 Rich how important is this bye week after the Raiders have lost five straight games.
#2 In the losing streak the Raiders played some tough customers one amongst them the Kansas City Chiefs back on Sun Oct 27th. The Chiefs actually pulled out a 27-20 win when they heard the Raiders footsteps and came away with a fourth quarter rally to hold on and win the game.
#3 There was the previous home game that the Raiders were crushed by the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sun Oct 13 at Allegiant Stadium 32-13. Steelers quarterback Justin Fields was 14-24 for 145 yards. Fields didn’t throw or rush for a touchdown but the Steelers certainly got a lot of offense in that game.
#4 Speaking of offense in the Raiders last game Sun Nov 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals in Cincinnati the Bengals put up some big numbers with quarterback Joe Burrow under center throwing 27-39 for 251 yards and here’s where it hurt the Raiders five touchdowns by Burrow either by passing or rushing in the 41-24 win.
#5 The Raiders get right back to work in Miami next Sunday Nov 17th with a 10:00AM PST kickoff. The Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has taken a beating this year with multiple concussions but will not sit out. In the Dolphins last game against the Buffalo Bills Tua threw 25-28, 231 yards and two touchdowns. The Dolphins came up short in that one 30-27. How do you see this match up between the Dolphins and Raiders this Sunday here in Miami Sunday ?
