That’s Amaury News and Commentary podcast:

#1 Amaury, just wanted to get your take on MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred’s letter saying that MLB players can wear their regular uniforms and opt out of wearing Pride uniforms without getting fined or disciplined. This comes after three San Francisco Giants pitchers Landen Roupp, JT Brubaker, and Ryan Walker wrote Gen 9:12-16 on their caps in a game against the Chicago Cubs on Fri Jun 5 at Oracle Park.

#2 Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Brandon Woodruff threw a pitch for his 900th career strikeout. Woodruff on Monday night was dealing so well he took a no hitter into the sixth inning. The appearance was Woodruff’s first appearance since April 30th after suffering from a right shoulder injury. Woodruff’s line pitched six, no walks and had ten strikeouts and didn’t walk a batter against the Cincinnati Reds.

#3 Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Kyle Tucker left Monday’s game against the Minnesota Twins in the second inning due to lower back spasms. Tucker walked who walked in the second inning the lightly ran to second on Tommy Edman’s base hit to right was replaced by pinch runner Alex Call. Tucker is listed as day to day.

#4 After missing 19 games due to a strained right hamstring Cincinnati Red shortstop Elly De La Cruz is expected to be reinstated on the Reds Tuesday roster according to Reds manager Terry Francona. De La Cruz has been out since Jun 1. De La Cruz took some pre game hitting in the cage before Monday’s game against the Brewers. De La Cruz went 2-8 in Triple A Louisville making three rehab starts.

#5 Buster Posey the San Francisco Giants president talked about the July trade deadline. The Giants might be sellers and overhaul the team. There has been talk about a possible Willy Adames deal that would send the infielder to the New York Mets, Posey said that if the club doesn’t quickly make a turnaround he would be open minded about talking to interested clubs about even his star players for trades.
