#1 Saturday the San Jose Barracuda’s (29-30-4-3) Colin White scored twice but couldn’t get San Jose to seal the deal against the Abbotsford Canucks (29-23-2-1) in a game that resulted in a 5-4 loss at Abbotsford Centre.
#2 It was a tough loss for the Barracuda as they attacked early scoring the first two goals of the game with Jimmy Schuudlt and Pavol Regenda to open the game with a 2-0 lead after the first period.
#3 The Canucks in the second period started to make a move scoring two. The Canucks Max Sasson scored at 1:19, the Barracuda’s Colin White would answer back with a goal at 5:27, and the Canucks cut the Barracuda lead to 3-2 when Danila Klimovich scored at 9:06 to end the second period.
#4 Third period the Tristen Nielsen scored at 3:52 to tie up it up 3-3 for the Canucks. White would score again for the Barracuda to take a brief lead again at 4-3 at 5:27. Then there’s Linus Karlsson who tied the game up once again 4-4 at 17:22. The game went into overtime and Karlsson struck again scoring his second goal of the game for the game winner at 3:09 in a 5-4 Canucks win.
#5 It’s off to Tucson on Sat Mar 15 at 7:00pm PDT and the Tucson Roadrunners 27-23-3-2 seventh in the Pacific Division. The Barracuda are catching the Roadrunners during a hot spell who have won six of their last ten games. The Barracuda have won four of their last ten games and are fifth in the Pacific at 29-20-4-3.
