SANTA CLARA–There are two things, number one this was going to be a big test for the 49ers when they hosted one of the NFL’s best teams the Jacksonville Jaguars last Sunday. The Jaguars came into the game with hands down one of the best defenses in the league just by all the numbers. The Jags are noted for being particularly stingy against quarterbacks and the Jaguars allowed only 164 passing yards.

Then you have 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo comes out and added 130 yards in the first quarter alone and ended up with 240 yards passing total. The Jaguars have a great defense, they lead the league in sacks their secondary is shedding multiple drives. The Jaguars are a team that have hard hitting fast units on defense. This Jaguars defense was modeled similar to the Seattle defense.
