On the San Francisco 49ers podcast with Joe Lami at 49ers new head coach Chip Kelly’s press conference he was asked about his past relationships with his old team the Philadelphia Eagles. That he had problems with certain players and did 49ers general manager Trent Baalke share a concern with Kelly’s player relationships there. Also Eagles owner Jeffery Lurie stated that Kelly’s poor relationship with his players was they key reason why he left Philadelphia. Both Kelly and Baalke wanted no part of the Philadelphia past and wanted to turn the page and look forward to next season.
