SANTA CLARA–Last week the San Francisco 49ers (3-7) lost to the Seattle Seahawks (5-5) and I’m not one particularly for predictions but the Arizona Cardinals (8-2) are quite possibly the best team in the NFC right now and the 49ers will lose this Sunday even though their at home at Levis Stadium.
I would bet you anything if you got to Vegas this week you’ll see the Cardinals at the top of the Wager Board in the sports betting room. Arizona is just a really, really good team. They already spanked the 49ers this season and the 49ers aren’t significantly better or any better that I’m aware of compared to that early game.
That game last week was an embarrassment in Glendale September 27th the 49ers just got destroyed, they really weren’t in that game which is surprising because Arizona is a division rival. To see the 49ers come out flat in that one was really disappointing and while the Niners can come out with little more fire this time they may or may not the fact remains that Arizona is a really good team.
On the day before Thanksgiving Wednesday no one informed the media that 49ers quarterback Blaine Gabbert would be taking questions at a press conference in the basement of Levis Stadium therefore no reporters showed up to cover the Gabert presser.
Gabbert showed up and approached an empty podium as Comcast’s Mindi Bach was the only reporter who showed up to the presser. Gabbert jokingly said into the microphone, “Good to see ya” to the empty seats in the room and took a seat and said “I’ll be the one taking questions today.” Looks like everyone was either at SAP getting ready for the Sharks that night or they all took the afternoon off for early holiday.
