On the NBA podcast with Jerry:

#1 Golden State were without Andre Iguodala, Shaun Livingston, and DeMarcus Cousins for Wednesday’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers. How much of a load was it for the rest of the team in the loss to the Blazers 129-107?

#2 How exhausted is the team playing its fifth game in eight days?

#3 In the second and third quarters, neither team gave in. It was a tough bout, noting that the Warriors held a five-point lead at most and the Blazers had a six-point lead.

#4 Draymond Green had been hit with a flagrant foul, resulting in head coach Steve Kerr getting thrown out on two technicals.

#5 The Warriors host the Sacramento Kings on Feb. 21st and the Kings could be a handful at times this season.

Headline Sports with Tony Renteria: Harper not in Giants camp, so still anyone’s guess where he’s going

washingtonpost.com file photo: Washington Nationals pitcher Sean Doolittle left and Bryce Harper right bump gloves last season. Harper is currently looking for a deal that fits his expectations including no short-term deals.

On Headline Sports podcast with Tony:

#1 Baseball’s biggest free agent Bryce Harper, who just talked with the San Francisco less than two weeks ago, is still looking for a big league club to sign with

#2 Harper was nowhere near Scottsdale for the Giants camp, while his name was dropped as a possibility. No one, but maybe himself knows what he’s up to.

#3 With Kyler Murray deciding on football, what do you think the odds are that he could play with the Oakland Raiders and stay a two-sport player and play for the A’s’?

#4 The A’s badly missed pitchers Jharel Cotton and A.J. Puk are returning after Cotton and Puk were out for most of last season after having Tommy John surgery.

#5 The Oakland Raiders are very close to getting a deal done with the Oakland Coliseum Authority. The Raiders, who vowed not to play at the Coliseum after last season, had no choice but to come back after the San Francisco Mayor London Breed gave the San Francisco Giants the message that the Raiders should stay in Oakland and talked about traffic issues if the team were to play it’s final season in San Francisco.

San Jose Sharks podcast with Mary Lisa Walsh: After successful road swing in Canada, Sharks look to do damage against Washington on Thursday

On the San Jose Sharks podcast with Mary Lisa:

#1 The Sharks take a six-game win streak into the game with the Washington Capitals on Thursday night. The Sharks beat the Caps back on Tues., Jan. 22 to start this winning streak.

#3 The Sharks will face Alex Ovechkin, who has set some records for a Russian player. Will Ovechkin be one player that can’t be contained or have the Sharks handled him pretty good in past games?

#4 The Sharks had a successful road swing through western Canada with wins over the Winnipeg Jets, Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, and Vancouver Canucks.

#5 What has been working best for San Jose? Joe Thornton and his point-setting records, goals from that wild scoring contest Monday night in Vancouver by Evander Kane (2), Melker Karlsson, Kevin LeBanc, Timo Meier, Tomas Hertl and Joe Pavelski.

San Jose Barracuda podcast with Marko Ukalovic: Cuda glad losing streak is out of their system, end skid with win over Tucson

sandiegogulls.com photo: The San Diego Gulls, who will face the San Jose Barracuda for two games starting Friday night, are shown here celebrating their win over the Colorado Eagles on Tuesday night in San Diego

On the Barracuda podcast with Marko:

#1 San Jose Barracuda (27-11-2-4) head coach Roy Sommer has to be relieved after the team snapped a three-game losing streak to the Tucson Roadrunners (24-15-4-2) last Tuesday night at the SAP Center.

#2 It was narrow though the game was tied and the Roadrunners are one of the best teams in the league, but the Cuda got the one shootout goal that got them back in the win column when Francis Perron scored the winner for the 2-1 victory.

#3 After two periods and the score tied 1-1, the Barracuda were doing everything they could to get in the back end of the net. After two periods, they led the Roadrunners out shooting the Roadrunners 28-13.

#4 One thing for sure neither team didn’t want to lose this one. It was tied after regulation. No one scored in the overtime stanza and they went three rounds to get the verdict in the Cuda win.

#5 The Barracuda and San Diego Gulls (26-15-2-3) open up a two-game series, starting Saturday night at SAP Center. The Gulls are no easy customer either and this series should be a battle in of itself.

On Headline Sports with London:

#1 The Raiders are close to swallowing the bitter pill and returning back to the Oakland Coliseum. The Raiders have met with Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Authority executive director Scott McKibben.

#2 The Raiders are bitter about the city of Oakland suing them for moving and Oakland’s claim of losing revenue from the team leaving. The City of Oakland claims they will lose millions of dollars from the move and are suing the Raiders and the NFL.

#3 The Raiders withdrew from a lease agreement that was tentative at $7.5 million. Because of the lawsuit the Raiders were prepared to play at the baseball Giants park formerly known as AT&T Park, but when San Francisco Mayor London Breed pretty much objected to the idea the Giants, who welcomed the Raiders felt the pressure of city hall.

#4 NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is looking at his watch in regards for the Raiders to get a deal done soon as the NFL are looking to start making the schedules for next season and are putting pressure on the Raiders to get a deal for a site for next season done.

#5 In other news, former Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Kyler Murray has committed to football and most likely will not join the Oakland A’s. Murray looked like he was going to play for the A’s, but has now chosen to get into the NFL Draft.
