#1 David the San Francisco 49ers (5-5) handled the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-8) rather handedly on Sunday in Jacksonville 30-10. They didn’t play down to the Jags level and were in control on both sides of the football for most of the game.

#2 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo was 16-22 for 176 yards and threw for two touchdowns. The 49ers big offensive quarter was the second quarter where they scored 17 points.

#3 The 49ers host the Minnesota Vikings (5-5) on Sunday the Vikings have won four of their last six games including a big win over the Green Bay Packers (8-3) last Sunday 34-31. Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins was 24-35 for 341 yards and three touchdowns against the Packers. How do you see the Vikings and 49ers this Sunday in Santa Clara?

#1 Dave an unexpected upset victory for the San Francisco 49ers who now improve to 4-5 defeating the visiting Los Angeles Rams (7-3) with that huge 31-10 victory on Monday Night Football were you just as shocked by the turn around as everyone else?

#2 Lots of key players in this one two of which quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo 15-19, 182 yards throwing, two touchdowns take all that considered the 49ers were in the red zone quite a few times. Also talk about Jimmie Ward who had two picks off Rams quarterback Matt Stafford.

#3 Dave the 49ers really beat a Goliath of a football team in the Rams now they play one of the worst and struggling teams in the NFL next Sunday Nov 21st in Florida against the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-7). You can never count anyone out on any given Sunday as the Jags have won two of their last four games. They did lose to the Indianapolis Colts (5-5) last Sunday 23-17. #1 After the San Francisco 49ers (3-5) most recent loss to the Arizona Cardinals (8-1) on Sunday 31-17 the subject of Odell Beckham Jr has been raised and would he be a fit for the 49ers? 49er head coach Kyle Shanahan likes what Beckham brings to the game however Beckham Jr is looking to join a team that is a post season contender.

#2 In spite of the Cardinals three key starters quarterback Kyler Murray, wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and defensive end JJ Watt all out for last Sunday’s game due to injuries. Former 49ers quarterback Colt McCoy and running back James Conner took over to defeat the 49ers for their fifth loss out of six games.

#3 The Los Angeles Rams (7-2) second place behind first place Arizona were rolling they did suffer a tough loss to the Tennessee Titans (7-2) 28-16 last Sunday. The Rams come to Levi Stadium for Monday Night Football as a four point favorite over the 49ers.

#1 Tuesday was a busy day at the San Francisco offices at the Marie DeBartolo Complex in Santa Clara as the 49ers (3-4) have made some roster moves as follows, acquired defenseman Charles Omenihu, linebacker Tyrell Williams released, kicker Joey Slye wavied, and safety Kai Nacua has been moved to the practice squad.

#2 Dave, former San Francisco 49ers quarterback and legend Joe Montana said he would have taken the New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones over 49ers back up Trey Lance. Jones so far this season is piling up on the yards at 1,997, nine touchdowns, six interceptions, for Lance 354 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception this season. Where do you stand on Montana’s choice of quarterbacks?

#3 Dave after losing four straight and going into Chicago with a 33-22 win has 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo turned a corner, critics still are calling for Lance to be the starting quarterback.

#1 In the last San Francisco 49ers (2-4) game on Sunday Night Football the field was sloppy, the ball was slippery and the play was just drenching against the visiting Indianapolis Colts (3-4) at Levi Stadium or better dubbed the Atmospheric River Bowl.

#2 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan had been questioned this week about quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and will he be the starting quarterback this Sunday in Chicago. Shanahan said he had a whole team to worry about who was going to start not just at the quarterback position. Shanahan later said that Garoppolo will start this Sunday.

#3 The 49ers are at Soldier Field against the Chicago Bears (3-4) this Sunday. The Bears in their last game were crushed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-1) 38-3. The Bears absolutely had no offense going for them quarterback Justin Fields threw 22-32 for 184 yards, no touchdowns and three interceptions. The 49ers are three point favorites over the Bears.

#1 Dave, 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has returned to practice on Monday and his sore calf was not hampering him in practice his last game was on Oct 3 against the Seattle Seahawks.

#2 On the other hand 49ers back up quarterback Trey Lance did not practice in the open media session and not working on the side during practice. Lance was also not available for the practice squad he may not be available this Sunday against the Colts but it’s too early to tell.

#3 Free safety Jimmie Ward was proud of Dontae Johnson’s fill in work last week against the Denver Broncos during the absence of slot corner K’Waun Williams who had calf soreness. Johnson did practice with the team this week and had missed the Denver and Seattle games.

#1 Dave the 49ers are coming off their second win over the Philadelphia Eagles 17-11 last Sunday. The 49ers have seven injuries key players from last week’s game linebacker Dre Greenlaw groin, defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw knee, cornerback Emmanuel Mosely knee, defensive lineman Dee Ford ankle, linebacker Marcell Harris oblique linebacker, Arik Armstead defensive line.

#2 Dave talk about quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo’s performance in Philadelphia throwing 22 for 30 for 189 yards, and one touchdown. Although he didn’t throw for multiple touchdowns he did enough to get the 49ers over the hump for a six point 17-11 win.

#3 Asked why he didn’t use back up quarterback Trey Lance 49ers head coach Shanahan said there was no designated plan to use Lance and there was no urgency either in week 1 or week 2 which actually is a very good place for Shanahan to be in.

#1 San Francisco 49ers quarterback Trey Lance has been so impressive in camp it was reported his accuracy has improved in just six weeks of practice.

#2 In recent team drills Lance completed 20 of 22 passes and that was over two days. Lance also has rid of his air mail passes.

#3 Based on watching Lance he looks ready to step into the starting job but starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo could keep his job with a winning season.

#1 You know the 49ers were going to rank in the Top 10 in the NFL for the fifth consecutive year in injury reserve transactions. 49ers rusher Jeff Wilson while working at the team facility in May suffered a torn ligament.

#2 San Francisco 49ers have signed quarterback Trey Lance for four years for $34.1 million and got a $22 million signing bonus. The $34.1 million part of the deal is guaranteed the fifth year will be an option year.

#3 Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo in the past has suffered his share of injuries but as long as he says he’s healthy and is under center winning games he won’t have to look over his shoulder to see Lance standing there in the wings.
