On the Kings podcast with Jeremiah:

#1 Jeremiah nine straight loses in the row how bad does it have to get for Sacramento (12-20)?

#2 140 points by one of the worst offenses in the NBA the New York Knicks (16-17) was this a game the Kings defense just let down or was it a Knicks team that just keep running up the score and doing the right thing to move the ball?

#3 Immanuel Quickley led New York with 25 points, Alec Burks 24 points, Julius Randall 21 points, and Derrick Rose followed up with 18 points they made it look easier than in other games with previous opponents.

#4 If De’Aaron Fox 29 points and Harrison Barnes 22 points carried the team last night  and no one is helping out on the defense end and everyone is at a lose for the Kings right now?

#5 Tonight the Kings are in Detroit to face the Pistons (9-23). The Pistons have won four of their last ten games which includes a win over the Brooklyn Nets 122-111 on Feb 9th. How do you see this match up tonight turning out at Little Caesar’s Arena?

Sacramento Kings podcast with Jeremiah Salmonson: Kings need to play all four quarters; Couldn’t hold lead on Raptors in second half

The Sacramento Kings including guard Buddy Hield (24) tried to keep the pressure on the Toronto Raptors Fred VanVleet (23) but VanVleet and the Raptors poured it on in the second half of the game on Fri Jan 8, 2021 at Golden One Center in Sacramento for the win (AP News photo)

On the Kings podcast with Jeremiah:

#1 The Sacramento Kings held their own at the start of Friday night’s game at Golden One Center with a 74-71 lead and it looked like the Kings had a shot to get a win against a struggling Toronto Raptors team.

#2 The Raptors came out in the second half and held the Kings to just 29 points in the third quarter and 20 points in the fourth quarter as the Raptors came away with a 144-123 victory.

#3 The Raptors had six players in double figures with Fred VanVleet who led Toronto with 34 points.

#4 The Kings De’Aaron Fox led with 23 points also had six players in double figures but that second half defense by the Raptors didn’t allow enough offense for the Kings to try and keep up with the Raptors who just simply pulled away.

#5 The Kings go back to the drawing board again tonight at Golden One this time against the Portland Trailblazers tonight who have lost seven of their last ten games. The last time the Kings and Trailblazers met the Kings won it 121-106 on Sun Dec 13th in Portland.

Headline Sports podcast with Jeremiah:

#1 Jeremiah the Sacramento Kings restart the season on Friday July 31st at the Walt Disney World bubble in Orlando that’s almost two weeks of recovery for De’Aaron Fox who is suffering a mild to moderate ankle injury.

#2 It’s bad enough as the Kings now have four players sidelined with Coronavirus issues with Harrison Barnes being the latest King to contract the disease. None of the four Kings players are suffering symptoms and are waiting to test negative before returning back. The Kings Alex Len who had C-9 has been cleared to come back and should be in the line up for the game on the 31st.

#3 How creative does head coach Luke Walton have to be now with his line up with players out Corona and De’Aaron out with the ankle?

#4 Fox you may recall missed 17 games before the shutdown with a grade 3 sprain. The sprain caused a complete detachment of the ligament requiring 10-12 weeks on the injury list.

#5 After much time off Fox has to be anxious to get back in the line up after the two ankle injuries will he be up to the task to help the team out in this last eight game stretch?
