#1 Jeremiah, talk about the Sacramento Kings Harrison Barnes he had 27 points he was the go to guy as the Kings came away with a 115-112 win over the San Antonio Spurs at the AT&T Center in San Antonio on Thursday night.

#2 Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich had picked up his 1,334th career win but now have lost three straight games and it was an accomplishment that was none too easy for the Kings.

#3 The Kings got scoring help from De’Aaron Fox 26 points, Domantas Sobonis 12 points who also had 12 rebounds and fouled out of the game.

#4 It was the Spurs first home game since Feb 4th because of the San Antonio Rodeo. Could that have made a difference being away so long and given the Kings an advantage?

#5 The Kings head to Dallas and face a very physical and offensive Mavericks team lead by Luca Doncic on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 pm PST how do you see that match up?

Los Angeles Lakers’ Anthony Davis, left, tried to get one over against the Philadelphia 76ers’ Joel Embiid, right, at the Wells Fargo Center on Thu Jan 27, 2022. The Sixers will host the Sacramento Kings on Sat Jan 29, 2022 in Philadelphia (AP News photo)

On the Sacramento Kings podcast with Morris Phillips for Jeremiah Salmonson:

#1 It’s been a tough road for the Sacramento Kings (18-32) as they face off with the Philadelphia 76ers (29-19) on Saturday night at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. The Kings have lost five straight games. I know it’s a tough task but Kings head coach Alvin Gentry can only try and motivate the team to try and get this one Saturday to end the streak?

#2 The two last games for the Kings were barnburners for the Boston Celtics and Atlanta Hawks. The Kings lost to the Celtics 125-75 on Tuesday and another loss to the Hawks on Wednesday night 121-104 neither were close games.

#3 On Wednesday night it was announced before the game in Atlanta that Kings guard Terence Davis had injured his right wrist on Tuesday night against the Celtics at TD Garden when he fell hard on the wrist, Davis has been listed as out with the injury indefinitely.

#4 On offense for the Kings on Wednesday night Harrison Barnes had 28 points and Davion Mitchell had 20 points were the two leading scorers but it just wasn’t enough to catch the Hawks.

#5 The Kings now tip off with the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night. The 76ers no doubt a worthy opponent have won seven of their last ten games and defeated the Lakers last night 105-87. The Sixers Joel Embiid was the top scorer with 26 points do you see the Kings having their hands full on Saturday night?

Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard (0) dribbles to get past Sacramento Kings center Tristan Thompson (13) during Wed Nov 24, 2021 at the Chase Center in Sacramento (AP News photo)

On the Kings podcast with Jeremiah:

#1 In the last Sacramento Kings (7-12) the Kings De’Aaron Fox scored 21 points before being ejected from last Wednesday night’s game against the Portland Trailblazers (10-9). Fox got the boot with 6:06 left after getting back to back technical fouls.

#2 The Kings also had two players ejected and received six technical fouls it could have got the Kings in a lot of trouble and could have lost them the game but they played angry and got by the Blazers with a four point win.

#3 The Blazers Robert Covington got even frustrated when he threw his goggles near a referee and was ejected from the game. Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups said the game got a little bit chippy and said stay off the officials and said that they got a little bit off their rhythm.

#4 The Portland Trailblazers Damian Lillard said that they just couldn’t come up with the stops saying the effort was there but they were just one or two plays short.

#5 The Kings are in Los Angeles to take on the Lakers (10-10) the Lakers just got by the Indiana Pacers (8-12) in overtime on Wednesday night 124-116. In the overtime stanza the Lakers outscored the Pacers 12-4 to get the victory. How do you see this match up tonight at Staples Center?

Sacramento Kings podcast with Jeremiah Salmonson: Kings feeling ready for opening night after coming off successful pre season

The Los Angeles Lakers LeBron James (6) takes a shot against the Sacramento Kings during the first quarter of Thu Oct 14, 2021’s game at the Golden One Center in Sacramento (AP News photo)

On the Kings podcast with Jeremiah:

#1 The Sacramento Kings (4-0) are rolling at least in pre season they were they had a perfect record of 4-0 Jeremiah is this an indication of things to come from what you’ve been seeing?

#2 On the other hand their opponent for last night the Los Angeles Lakers (0-6) took their sixth straight pre season loss not winning a single game in the pre season. Was this a matter of trying to find themselves or they just simply have no chemistry?

#3 Amongst the Lakers the veterans just seemed to not have enough throughout this pre season, LeBron, Anthony Davis, Carmelo Anthony, and Russell Westbrook with all that talent it’s got to be surprising the Lakers couldn’t get one win.

#4 The Kings on the other hand are getting some offense help from some of their players De’Aaron Fox, Terence Davis, Harrison Barnes, and Richaun Holmes talk about their contribution and what to look forward to going into the regular season.

#5 Jeremiah talk about the Kings opener on the road in Portland against the Trailblazers the Kings have that good feeling coming off a successful pre season.

Sacramento Kings podcast with Jeremiah Salmonson: Fox has been carrying the offensive load for Kings during skid

The Sacramento Kings center Richaun Holmes throws down as teammate Buddy Hield watches against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Mon Apr 5, 2021 at the Target Center in Minneapolis (AP News photo)

#1 Jeremiah, the Kings are coming off a four game losing streak after a tough loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday 116-106 they certainly are looking forward to some home cooking tonight.

#2 The Kings tried as hard as they may against the Timberwolves just had trouble getting any traction much like their previous loses.

#3 Jeremiah, losing these four games you can see there has been a drop in scoring in key quarters is this a matter of opponents turning up the defense or the Kings are just not getting the shots to fall?

#4 The Kings are pretty much relying on De’Aaron Fox who had 31 points leading the team in scoring in their last game against the Timberwolves what will it take to get another scorer to help Fox out and get the Kings over the hump to win some of these games?

#5 The Detroit Pistons tip off with the Kings tonight the Pistons have won only three in their last ten games the good news is the Kings are back at home at Golden One Center the bad news possibly will they struggle or play down to the level of the Pistons tonight?

Sacramento Kings podcast with Tony Renteria: Kings win over Hawks proves something to themselves as they host Golden State tonight

The Sacramento Kings guard Tyrese Halliburton (0) passes to Harrison Barnes forward (40) with Atlanta Hawks foward John Collins (20) and Trae Young (1) defending on Wed Mar 24, 2021 at Golden One Center in Sacramento (AP News photo)

#1 Tony the Kings (19-25) just got by the visiting Atlanta Hawks (22-22) with a two point victory 110-108 on Wednesday night at Golden One Center in Sacramento and it’s the fourth win out of six games for the Kings.

#2 Tony, once again if it weren’t for De’Aaron Fox no telling how the Kings would have ended up last night. Fox led the way with 37 points and all those points really counted especially after the Hawks out scored the Kings in the fourth quarter 34-25.

#3 Tony talk about Tyrese Halliburton who finished second in scoring with 17 points his efforts have been strong and have given the Kings leverage in some of their recent wins.

#4 Kings head coach Luke Walton had been questioned about his future with the team after they had got into a horrendous losing streak an eight game losing streak that extended from Feb 9th to Feb 25 it was a tough period do you believe this Kings team in March are much better than that Kings team back in February?

#5 Now comes the Golden State Warriors who will play the Kings tonight at Golden One they’ve been struggling they had a four game losing streak between Feb 28 to Mar 11 and recovered but have recently dropped two games to the Memphis Grizzlies and Philadelphia 76ers. Is this a matter of a Warrior team playing without Stephen Curry or they’re just struggling with their young talent.

Sacramento Kings podcast with Jeremiah Salmonson: Kings pick up third win in five games 125-105 over Houston; Play in Atlanta Sat nite

Sacramento Kings forward Nemanja Bjelica (8) reaches in over the head of the Houston Rockets guard Eric Gordon (10) for a foul on Thu Mar 11, 2021 at Golden One Center in Sacramento (AP News photo)

On the Sacramento Kings podcast with Jeremiah:

#1 The Sacramento Kings (15-22) continue to show improvement getting a win against the Houston Rockets (11-24) at Golden One Center in Sacramento on Thursday night 125-105.

#2 This win showed that since they defeated the Los Angeles Lakers and narrowly lost to the Portland Trailblazers there has been some improvement over the course of the last three games.

#3 The Kings De’Aaron Fox continues to have strong offensive nights leading the Kings in scoring against the Rockets with 30.

#4 Anytime you get three players finishing second in scoring with 20 points Harrison Barnes, Richaun Holmes, and Buddy Hield it speaks volumes to offense that needs to get back on track.

#5 The Kings travel to Atlanta to face the Hawks (17-20) on Sat Mar 13th. The Hawks have won five of their last eight games so this might be a little bit more of a challenge than this last game with Houston.
