The Las Vegas Raiders Amik Robertson (21) picks off a pass in front of the Green Bay Packers Christian Watson (9). Robertson prevented Watson from catching the go ahead score and most likely would have extended the Raiders losing streak to four games at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Monday Night Football Oct 9, 2023 (AP News photo)
On the Raiders podcast with Rich Perez:
#1 Rich, how big was it for the Las Vegas Raiders (2-3) to intercept Green Bay Packers (2-3) quarterback Jordan Love three times.
#2 Talk about two key defensive players for the Raiders linebacker Robert Spillane who intercepted Love twice and cornerback Amik Robertson who intercepted Love in the end zone to prevent the Raiders from losing the game and hold onto the win.
#3 The Raiders came back to Allegiant for Monday Night Football and stopped their three game losing streak on national TV. Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels had to be pleased that the bleeding has stopped.
#4 McDaniels said in his post game press conference that it was the kind of game that the Raiders were just grinding it out and it was that kind of game for four quarters.
#5 The Raiders now look to try to get to .500 as they host the New England Patriots who took an embarrassing loss to the New Orleans Saints in their last game on Sunday getting shutout 34-0 on their on home field at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough. Patriots-Raiders kick off at Sun Oct 15th at Allegiant Stadium at 1:05pm PT. How do you see this match up?
