#1 Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce hyperextended knee in practice on Tuesday. Kelce’s ACL is in alright. The Chiefs reported that Kelce has inflammation in his knee and went under tests earlier today. Based on the results will determine if Kelce will be in the line up for this Thursday Night Football against the Detroit Lions.

#2 New England Patriots corner Jack Jones caught a break as gun charges were dropped against him as long as he served one year pre trial probation and does 48 hours of community service. Jones was arrested on Jun 16th at Logan Airport in Boston after screeners found a Glock box with two guns and ammunition inside a bag with Jones name on it.

#3 The Las Vegas Raiders Chandler Jones was upset that he couldn’t workout in the Raiders team practice facility and had to use a local gym over the Labor Day weekend. Jones said that he didn’t want to play for the Raiders and referenced head coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler in a Instagram post that has since been deleted by Jones.

#4 Four days before the 2021 season the Buffalo Bills TJ Watt was holding out and signed for $112 million on a four year extension. He got two sacks and a tackle for a loss and had five quarterback hits. That’s why Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin is preparing his team in the event that the San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa signs just before Sunday’s game in Pittsburgh. Tomlin said he wants to get his offensive line ready to protect quarterback Kenny Pickett.

#5 Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says that quarterback Dak Prescott will be a Cowboy for a longtime. The catch is that to sign Prescott would eat into his salary cap. In 2024 Prescott is expected to make $29 million and has a $5 million bonus and is in the third year of his four deal. “There’s never a time where it goes away because you’ve got to make the entire thing fit.” Jones told 105.3 FM The Fan in order to make the salary fit.

#1 “Credit to them. Credit it to them” Famous last words from Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott after learning fans were not throwing trash and garbage at his teammates but rather to officials on Sunday after the loss to the 49ers blaming officials for not spotting the ball in time as time ran out and the Cowboys were eliminated from the post season. Prescott had since apologized on Tuesday for what he said.

#2 The Seattle Seahawks front office kept busy this week as they fired their defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr and defensive passing game coordinator Andre Curtis in what was the worst season for the Seahawks in more than ten years under head coach Pete Carroll. The Hawks have asked permission to speak with the Denver Broncos defensive coordinator Ed Donatell.

#3 According to head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers Mike Tomlin all options are on the table as his starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is presumed not to be returning for the 2022 season after 18 seasons as starting quarterback Roethlisberger will most likely be hanging it up and Tomlin will be searching for a new quarterback for next season.

#4 Golden State Warriors minority owner Chamath Palihapitiya (polly who said 15 minutes into an interview on Saturday that “Nobody cares about what’s happening to the Uyghurs, OK?” Palihapitiya continued saying “I’m telling you a very hard, ugly truth, OK, of all the things that I care about, yes it is below my line.” The Uyghurs Muslims are being are reportedly being persecuted and suffering from genocide in China according to the US Government. The Warriors embarrassed by the comments are reportedly keeping themselves away from Palihapitya and his remarks and sources say Palihapitya share of the team could be bought out depending on how much the team has to do damage control over the remarks.

#5 Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving re-enforced his no Covid 19 vaccine stance telling the media on Tuesday that his life outside of basketball is his choice not be vaccinated. Irving is not eligible to play in Brooklyn his home building the Barclay Center where the vaccine shot is mandated to be able to play.

#1 Denver Broncos general manager John Elway says that quarterback Joe Flacco, who joined the Broncos from the Baltimore Ravens in March, is a player that he really looks forward to break the string of quarterbacks that didn’t work out for the Broncos in the past.

#2 Arizona Cardinals offensive lineman Desmond Harrison, who was arrested for attempting to strangle a woman, was released by Arizona today. Harrison had joined the Cardinals in June after playing for the Cleveland Browns. Harrison had eight games at left tackle for Cleveland.

#3 Former Oakland Raider wide receiver Mattavias Bryant applied for reinstatement after being suspended for drug abuse. Bryant has missed 36 of 80 games. Bryant is serving his third suspension and the NFL as of now will not reinstate him.

#4 The NFLPA and the NFL are close to an agreement on the collective bargaining agreement. The two sides are trying to iron on some other issues. Both sides report that meetings have been constructive and making progress.

#5 Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said he wasn’t there to be understood. One players who didn’t get along with him was Antonio Brown who left for Oakland. Tomlin says he’s fair to everyone, although he might treat others differently.
