#1 The Golden State Warriors were home against the Los Angeles Clippers but that didn’t make much of a difference as the Warriors had a tough time containing the Clippers.

#2 The Clippers got scoring production from James Harden 26 points, Paul George 24, and Norman Powell with 21 points led the way.

#3 Powell got the hot hand scoring four 3 pointers in the last 7:03 of the game. Powell matched up with Warrior guard Stephen Curry in the contest.

#4 Curry wound up leading the Warriors with 41 points but it was too little as the Clippers won it by five points.

#5 The Warriors have to return to the site of the passing of their late coach Dejan Milojevich once again. The Warriors were just in Salt Lake City on Mon Feb 12 and have a make up game with the Utah Jazz Thursday night this is the game that was canceled because coach Milojevich passed away the night before at dinner.

#1 Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr’s contract is up at the end of this season. Is Kerr concerned about not getting a new deal or not?

#2 Warriors brass Joe Lacob owner and Mike Dunleavy Jr general manager are working pretty hard to present Kerr with a extension, both Lacob and Dunleavy Jr is confident they’ll get a deal done with Kerr.

#3 Kerr said he’s sure that something will get worked out and Kerr also commented, “I feel great about my position here,” Kerr said while talking to the media at the Warriors media day on Monday. “I want to be here. I know Mike and Joe want me here, and so I’m very confident something will get done. But I’m not stressed about it at all. I’m perfectly capable of coaching whether I have one year left or an extension. Makes no difference.”

#4 Kerr has been together coaching stars Draymond Green, Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson and has no plans of breaking up that old gang anytime soon.

#5 Warriors have their first pre season game this Sat Oct 7 against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers at Chase Center in San Francisco tip off 5:30pm PT.

Golden State Warriors podcast with Jerry Feitelberg: LeBron all time NBA scoring leader coming to Chase Saturday; Ex-Warrior Durant traded to Suns

On the Warriors podcast with Jerry:

#1 The Portland Trail Blazers (27-28) Damian Lillard led the way with a triple double and 33 points he was a tough one to defend and the Blazers came away with a 125-122 victory over the Golden State Warriors (28-27) in Portland on Wednesday night.

#2 Lillard also had 11 assists and ten rebounds, it was also Lillard’s second career triple double. Lillard said he didn’t shoot the ball well but it was his aggressiveness and his attack mode that helped defeat Golden State.

#3 The Warriors Jordan Poole finished on top of all other Warrior scorers with 38 points, Jerry talk about Poole’s contribution to the Warriors offense.

#4 Without guard Stephen Curry in the line up and out with a knee injury Klay Thompson scored 31 points, Thompson scored seven three pointers on his 33rd birthday and stepped it up for the club although they fell short in the end.

#5 Jerry, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are at the Chase Center this Saturday night for a 5:30 pm tip. LeBron set the NBA all time record with 38,388 points surpassing former Laker great Kareem Abdul Jabbar last Tuesday night. LeBron should get a nice ovation for the accomplishment from the Golden State crowd on Saturday.
