Scoring their first goal with the special teams unit out again, Coachella Valley broke open today’s first goal. Mitchell Stephens scored a shorthanded goal for his tenth of the season and make it 1-0 Firebirds. This lead would hold them for a 4-1 win against San Jose.

To tie the game at 1-1, Colin White extended his point streak to seven games, scoring his sixteenth goal of the season. Filip Bystedt with the lone assist. Regaining their lead, Coachella’s J.R Avon scored his ninth goal of the season to make it a 2-1 lead.

To extend their lead even further, Jakov Novak scored his fourth of the season to make it a Firebirds 3-1 lead. To seal the win, Lleyton Roed scored an empty netter to make it 4-1.

After the first period, San Jose outshot Coachella Valley twelve to nine. After the second period, San Jose outshot Coachella Valley eleven to seven. After the third period, San Jose outshot Coachella Valley fourteen to seven.

With 48 seconds left on the powerplay, Coachella Valley scored to take the first lead of the game. Jani Nyman scored his 21st goal of the season to make it 1-0. This would be the first goal scored in the 4-2 loss. On a breakaway, Coachella extended that lead to 2-0 when Lleyton Roed scored his tenth goal of the season.

To avoid the shutout, San Jose’s Quentin Musty scored his 17th goal of the season to make it a 2-1 game. Egor Afanasyev and Jimmy Huntington registering the two assists.

To regain their two goal lead, Coachella Valley’s Ty Nelso scored his tenth of the season to make it a 3-1 game. Picking up a loose puck, Colin White scored his 15th goal of the season to make it a 3-2 game. Nolan Allan and Filip Bystedt registering the assists. To seal the win, Cooper Marody scored his ninth of the season to seal the 4-2 win.

SAN JOSE- Texas opened up the scoring to make it 1-0 with Jack Becker scoring his 13th goal of the season. This would be the second goal that Texas scores in San Jose’s 3-2 loss. To tie it up 1-1, 18 seconds later, Colin White netted his fifth powerplay goal of the season. Oliver Wahlstrom registering the primary assist and Luca Cagnoni registering the secondary assist.

To take their first lead of the game, San Jose’s Egor Afanasyev scored his 13th goal of the season to make it a 2-1 San Jose game. Jimmy Huntington recording the lone assist. To tie the game at 2-2, right off the faceoff, Luke Krys scored his fifth goal of the season. With three minutes left in the third, Texas regained their previous lead. Kole Lind with his 11th goal of the season.

After the first period, shots were even a piece at 16. After the second period Texas outshot San Jose, 11-7. After the third period, San Jose outshot Texas 13-7.

Coming into Wednesday night’s game, San Jose was second on the powerplay and third shorthanded in the Pacific Division. San Jose went 1/4. For Texas, who are in the Central Division, was fifth on the powerplay and last shorthanded. Wednesday night, Texas went 0/6.

Returning back to the Barracuda after his short stint with the Sharks in the NHL, Laurent Brossoit was the starting goaltender for the Barracuda. Making 31 saves on 34 shots, Brossoit recorded Wednesday night’s loss. For Texas, Rémi Poirier got the start. Making 31 saves on 33 shots, Poirier recorded Wednesday night’s win.

Barracuda sweep Canucks with a 4-2 win

SAN JOSE- To open up the scoring, newly acquired San Jose Barracuda Jett Woo scores against his former team the Abbottsford Canucks to make it a 1-0 San Jose lead. This would be the first goal of the San Jose 4-2 win.

To tie the game at 1-1, Kirill Kudryavtsev scored his second of the season during the second period. To regain their lead, San Jose’s Oliver Wahlstrom scored his twenty-third goal of the season to make it 2-1.

To extend that lead even further, Quentin Musty scored his sixteenth to make it 3-1. Cutting into that lead, former Barracuda defenseman Jack Thompson scored his sixth of the season to make it 3-2. To seal the win, Lucas Vanroboys scored an empty netter to make it 4-2.

After the first period, Abbotsford outshot San Jose eleven to seven. After the second period, San Jose outshot Abbotsford nineteen to eight. Lastly, after the third period, San Jose outshot Abbotsford eleven to ten.

SAN JOSE- San Jose Barracuda waste no time jump on Abbottsford Canucks for a 4-1 win at Tech CU on Saturday night. Getting on the board first, Abbotsford’s Chase Stillman scored his third of the season to make it an early 1-0 lead in the first period.

On a turnover caused by Brendan Hoffman, San Jose tied the game at 1-1, just two minutes into the second period. Two minutes later, San Jose took their first lead of the game. Kasper Halttunen scored his thirteenth of the season from the faceoff dot to make it a 2-1 game.

To extend that lead, Anthony Vincent scored his ninth goal of the season (shorthanded), to make it a two goal lead, now a 3-1 game.

To extend that lead even further, Jimmy Huntington potted his15th of the season to make it a 4-1 Barracuda lead.

After the first period, San Jose outshot Abbotsford 15-10. After the second period, San Jose outshot Abbotsford fifteen to six. After the third period, San Jose outshot Abbotsford ten to eight.

Roadrunners three goal third period, sweep Barracuda 5-4

Just like last night, Tucson opened up the scoring in the San Jose 5-4 loss. Kevin Cottanuton scored his first of the season to give his team an early 1-0 lead. On a turnover by San Jose, Tucson took advantage and extended their lead to 2-0. Maveric Lamoureux scored his first of the season. With 5 seconds left on their 5 on 3 penalty, San Jose cut into the lead and made it a 2-1 game when Jimmy Huntington scored his fourth powerplay goal of the season.

During the second period, San Jose expoloded. Brendan Hoffman tied the game at 2-2 for his second goal of the season, newly acquired Jett Woo getting the primary assist. Three minutes later, San Jose took their first lead of the game when Lucas Vanroboys scored his first of the season to make it 3-2. San Jose expanded that lead to 4-2 when Quentin Musty scored his fifteenth goal of the season.

Barracuda fall 6-4 to Tucson Roadrunners

On the first shot of the game, Cameron Hebig scored his 19th goal of the season to put the Tucson Roadrunners up 1-0 early. This would be the first goal in San Jose’s 6-4 loss. The number eighth ranked powerplay unit got to work when Nolan Allan was called for a two minute penalty for cross checking.

Austin Poganski scored his fourth powerplay goal of the season to extend Tucson’s lead to 2-0. 22 seconds later, San Jose’s Filip Bystedt cut into that lead, scoring his 17th goal of the season to make it a 2-1 game. With 25 seconds left in the first period, Daniil But scored his 13th of the season to make it a 3-1 game.

Five seconds into the second period, San Jose’s Quentin Musty scored his 14th of the season to cut Tucson’s lead to 3-2. Two minutes later, Colin White tied the game at 3-3, scoring his 12th of the season. To take the lead late, Filip Bystedt scored his second of the night to give them their first 4-3 lead.

Two minutes into the last frame, Andrew Agozzino tied the game at 4-4. To take their lead back late in the game, Andrew Agozzino scored his second of the game to take a 5-4 lead.To seal the win, Daniil But scored an empty net goal, his second goal this game.
