#1 San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy and wide receiver Jauan Jennings will miss week 3 of the NFL season against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Purdy is out with a turf toe injury and Jennings is out with a shoulder and ankle injury how will their absence impact the 49ers this weekend.

#2 49ers tight end George Kittle and his wife Claire were dragged into a fake quote that got spread on line saying that the subject of Charlie Kirk and politics had no place in the NFL. The quote which Kittle emphasized was fake said that the account that the quote was on makes fake quotes and he hoped the many responses he got from people that they realize that.

#3 The 49ers take on the Jaguars at Levi Stadium this Sunday for a 1:25pm PT kick off. The Jaguars are 2-1 and are coming off a win over the Houston Texans 17-10 last Sunday. The Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence threw for 222 yards and touchdown. How do you see this match up this Sunday?

Las Vegas Raiders podcast Tony Renteria: Raiders defense just couldn’t put the brakes on Commanders

Las Vegas Raiders podcast Tony Renteria:

#1 Washington Commanders (2-1) quarterback Marcus Mariota got lots of protection and had all day to throw against the Las Vegas Raiders (1-2) defense going 15-21, 207 yards, and one touchdown in the 41-24 win.

#2  Washington changed it’s playbook from their last game as nearly half of the starters in Sunday’s game were changed and Mariota was backing up for injured first stringer Jayden Daniels. Mariota got 201 yards on the ground against the Raiders and 174 in the first half.

#3 The Commanders set the tone in the first half taking a 20-10 lead at the half and that had Raiders head coach Pete Carroll concerned that the defense was not putting any pressure on Mariota who was getting time to throw.

#4 In the second half the Commanders outscored Las Vegas 21-14. The damage was done mostly in the first half and the Raiders couldn’t salvage it in the second half getting shutout in the third quarter and scoring twice on touchdowns thrown by quarterback Geno Smith at 12:57 to Tre Tucker for a ten yard pass and at 3:42 Smith hit Tucker for a 61 yard touchdown.

#5 The Chicago Bears who lost their first two games of the season and faced the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday at Soldier Field in Chicago. The Raiders will be hosting the Bears at Allegiant Stadium on Sun Sep 28 a 1:25pm PT kick off. Can the Raiders rebound after loses to the Los Angeles Chargers and the Commanders against a struggling Bears team?

#1 San Francisco 49ers kicker Eddy Pineiro hit a 35 yard field goal to get the 49ers a 16-15 win over the visiting Arizona Cardinals. The win is the 49ers third in a row.

#2 With 49ers key players Nick Bosa and starting quarterback Brock Purdy out with injuries. At 3:15 in the fourth quarter the Cardinals got a safety to take the lead 15-13. But later Pinerio got a shot to kick a game winning field goal at with time left on the clock.

#3 Next up for the 49ers they host the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-1) next Sun Sep 28th at Levi Stadium. The Jags won their last game by a touchdown 17-10 in Jacksonville. #2 Tony, Brady before the game as a co-owner and a former player you just never get away from that player mentality and passion he certainly wants to be involved in the game.

#3 The Chargers in the first quarter score ten points and got a touchdown from Kennan Allen who caught a ten yard pass from quarterback Justin Herbert with 20 seconds left in the quarter making 10-3.

#4 Second quarter Chargers added another touchdown when Quentin Johnston caught a 60 yard pass from Hebert and the Chargers after the first half had a 17-6 lead.

#5 Second half in the third quarter the Chargers got a field goal from Cameron Dicker a 20 yarder and the Raiders would get a field goal a 37 yarder by Daniel Carlson in the fourth quarter so both defenses pretty much shut it down but the Raiders couldn’t pass the Chargers getting their first loss of the seaon.

#6 This Sunday Sep 21 the Raiders face the Washington Commanders who are 1-1 and lost their last game Thu Sep 11 to the Green Bay Packers 27-18. The Commanders crushed the New York Giants in week 1 in Washington 21-6. How do you see these two teams matching up this Sunday in Washington?

#1 The SF 49ers tight end and third stringer Jake Tonges’ fourth quarter game winning catch set the tone for what’s to come for the 49ers season?

#2 Despite the win the 49ers waived kicker Jake Moody and 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said after Sunday’s game “Obviously, I was disappointed we missed two field goals,” Shanahan said. “Missed one, which is a big miss … the next one, (Julian) Love made a hell of a move … We got to clean up the operation. That one wasn’t Jake, that’s the whole operation. We got to do better.”

#3 Tight End George Kittle is out with a hamstring for a few weeks and quarterback Brock Purdy has a toe and shoulder injury. Shanahan said he was more concerned with the Purdy toe injury than the shoulder injury. Purdy could be possibly shelfed for the game in New Orleans Sunday.
