#1 The Sacramento Kings (0-2) made several attempts at trying to catch the Portland Trail Blazers (2-0) but the Blazers played some pesky basketball on both side of the ball the Kings took a lead in the first quarter 33-27.
#2 The Blazers in the second quarter caught up out scoring the Kings by a point 32-31. The Kings did exhibit some improved defense but the Blazers game plan worked just a little better in the first half.
#3 Tony it was the third quarter that the Blazers crushed it out scoring the Kings with a whopping 44-26 third quarter total and that was the key quarter that Portland pulled away.
#4 For the Kings Darius Acuff Jr he had himself a game leading Sacramento with 33 points but it wasn’t enough.
#5 Next up for the Kings it’s the Memphis Grizzlies Sun Oct 25th at Golden 1. The Grizzlies are coming off a 111-108 win against the Golden State on Friday night in San Francisco. With the win the Grizzlies improve to 2-0. Will the Kings have their hands full Sunday night or can the Kings develop a game plan and finally get in the win column?
