#1 Barbara, Lawrence Butler hit a game winning bottom of the ninth two run walk off home run to wrap up the game for a 8-7 win at Sutter Health Park. The A’s were down in the ninth 7-6 with Zack Gelof on base and Butler cleared the right centerfield fence for the walk off.

#2 A’s are going good they have now won four of their last five games and this team got hot going back to Aug 2 when they topped the Texas Rangers 9-2 avoiding a sweep at that time and have gone 7-3 since then.

#3 Butler hit two home runs in Sunday’s game and looking back on Aug 2 in Texas had a team meeting and that lit the fuse he was slumping in the first half of the season and now has come back with vengence and after hitting around .155 before the break and now in mid September has improved to .230 and has been one of the key guys in the line up.

#4 What can you also say about Henry Bolte whose been the lead off man scored a run in Sunday’s game where every run has counted to edge the M’s and take two out of three. Bolte even though he went 0-3 scored a crucial run and is hitting .275 in the lead off role.

#5 A’s take Mon Sep 14th off and open up a three game series in Tampa Bay against the Rays on Tuesday night Sep 15 in St Petersburg. Starting pitchers for Sacramento RHP Jack Perkins (3-11 ERA 6.53) for Tampa Bay RHP Griffin Jax (7-10 ERA 3.99) first pitch 3:40pm PDT.
