#1 The Giants are returning to Oracle Park on Friday night after having a rugged road trip to San Diego and Texas dropping five of seven games going 1-3 in San Diego and 1-2 in Texas.

#2 The road trip dropped San Francisco 19 games below .500 their lowest for the 2026 season.

#3 The loss to the Rangers on Wednesday at Globe Life Field in Arlington dropped the Giants to 48-67 (.417) their lowest mark for the season and fifth worst winning percentage in MLB.

#4 Meanwhile the Giants have had a little better luck at Oracle Park winning 13 of their last 20 games and San Francisco has outscored opponents 96-69. The Giants have gone 13-7 at home since June 14th which is the sixth best home record in MLB during that time and is fourth best in the NL.
