San Francisco Giants podcast Lincoln Juarez: Giants can’t get past Rockies closer Mejia in 4-3 loss at Oracle

San Francisco Giants podcast Lincoln Juarez:

#1 Lincoln, the Colorado Rockies down 2-1 but rallied in the top of the ninth inning scoring three runs to take a 4-2 lead. The Giants in the bottom of the ninth Rafael Devers hit a sac fly to center that scored Grant McCray but the Giants fell short with a 4-3 loss at Oracle Park.

#2 The game started with Rafael Devers hitting a 347 foot right field home run to give the Giants a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning.

#3 In the seventh inning Dever slugged a single to right field that scored Luis Arraez that gave the Giants a 2-1 lead.

#4 The Giants releiver Keaton Killan in relief couldn’t get anyone out and allowed three hits and three runs in the top of the ninth for the loss.

#5 Giants and Rockies at Oracle Park for game three of the four game set starting pitchers on Saturday at 1:05pm PDT for Colorado LHP Kyle Freeland (2-7 ERA 7.46) for San Francisco RHP Tyler Mahle (1-8 ERA 5.70).
