#1 The San Jose Barracuda (7-11-1-0) who were coming off a loss on Saturday turned things around on Sunday with a 5-2 three goal win over the Abbotsford Canucks (5-2)

‘#2 Barracuda goalie Alexi Melnichuk was key on Sunday against the visiting Canucks stopping 17 shots in their three goal win.

#3 Undrafted rookie Nick Cicek scored his first goal in 13 games on Sunday, Cicek leads the Barracuda defenseman in goals scored with 11 and got his second multi goal game of the season.

#4 Head coach Roy Sommer had to be excited about the Barracuda getting that first shorthanded goal of the season scored by Evan Wienger in the second period on a four on five play.

#5 Marko, talk a little about Jayden Halbgewachs who was recalled by the Sharks on Monday. He certainly earned his wing for the call up.

#6 The Barracuda conclude their three game homestand with the visiting Colorado Eagles on Wednesday night at SAP Center as the Barracuda look for their second straight win.
