On the Barracuda podcast with Marko:
#1 The San Jose Barracuda (18-27-4-2) edged out a close contest with the Iowa Wild (36-16-4-3) on Monday morning 2-1.
#2 The Barracuda were playing a pretty decent team in the Wild on Monday and they went all out on defense to prevent Iowa from piling on goals.
#3 Jonny Brodzinski provided all the offense San Jose would need scoring two goals opening the game at 0:29 with a goal and an overtime goal
#4 The Barracuda’s Josef Korenar (10-16-2) stopped 42 shots and played much of the game standing on his head but his prevent defense kept the Wild out of the game.
#5 It’s Iowa again tonight as the Barracuda hope to sweep the Wild in the second of two games
