On the A’s podcast with Jerry:

#1 Going into the season there was a lot of doubt about the starting pitching but as Jerry was saying the two starting pitchers who are doing well out of the gate Andrew Triggs and Sean Manaea

#2 Manaea gave up only one run, three hits in eight innings in a 6-2 win Wednesday night

#3 For Manaea he pitched in his second start and has gone into the later innings against the Los Angeles Angels on Friday he pitched 7 2/3 innings with a 1.15 ERA.

#4 The talk of the A’s attendance being down with crowds of 7,000 plus on Monday, 9,000 plus on Tuesday, 7,000 plus on Wednesday. A’s president David Kaval has done all he can do promote and make the Coliseum fan friendly with a new restaurant out in the left field bleachers and food trucks lining the concourse of the outside of the Coliseum.

#5 The A’s conclude this homestand with the Texas Rangers as starter Daniel Mengden gets the call against the Texas Rangers Martin Perez.
