1 The 49ers loss to the Arizona Cardinals 20-10 last Sunday at Levis Stadium continued the winless streak to nine for the Niners. The defense couldn’t stop Arizona quarterback Drew Stanton who was replacing starter Carson Palmer who broke his arm in week seven. Stanton threw for 15-30 and 201 yards.

2 Every week same thing different story in the game last Sunday and the week before in Philadelphia the 49ers met some tougher opponents but still haven’t found a way to the win column

3 The 49ers host the New York Giants (1-7) Sunday at Levis in what could be the 49ers best chance to win a game this season. It’s however very unlikely that quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo will get a series in the game although he’s on the sidelines studying the 49ers plays and playbook
