By Joe Lami:
The San Francisco 49ers linebacker Eric Reid who formerly played safety and is making that switch this weekend and Reid will play his first game exclusively as linebacker. Reid is not entirely happy about the switch but that comes down to the fact that the Niners and head Kyle Shanahan see that it is necessary. It seems like the 49ers have a chance to make it seems likes it going to be a little bit of moving around on the player roster.
Reid will be traded? So far the 49ers have not made any long term commitments to Reid and his contract runs out at the end of the season. Reid mentioned after last week game’s with the Dallas Cowboys at Levis Stadium that the disappointing loss was not positive in the locker room. Seeing the way things are going for Reid he may not be with the 49ers at the end of the season. His agent says he’s one of the best safeties in the NFL.
