The Cardinal watched as their defense broke down after holding a 21 point lead and let one get away on Saturday to their guest the Washington Huskies. If it wasn’t for Michael Humphrey coming to the rescue with his 18 points there would be no tenth win for the Cardinal to the relief of Cardinal head coach Jerod Haase. Humphrey led Stanford in scoring with 18 points and he closed the gap on the Huskies with eight points in the closing three and half minutes of Saturday’s game to help Stanford get the win 76-69.
