For AP and NY Times reporter, BBWWAA member Murray Chass left his Major League Baseball Hall of Fame ballot blank in protest that the candidate running to get elected into the Hall of Fame were not HOF caliber players. Chass said they were good players but not worthy of the Hall of Fame thus leaving his ballot blank. There are people in the Hall, who work at the Hall, players who depended on votes, and members of the media who vote who want Chass out of the voting class for submitting the blank ballot.
