Stanford’s Michael Humphrey left it all on the floor on Sunday night against the UCLA Bruins as the Cardinal who were defeated saw Humphrey get a double- double, 21 points, 14 boards and he played his heart out and fouled out late in the game. The Cardinal fell behind at UCLA at half time they were down 18 points 48-30.
The Cardinal were out played by UCLA by 21 in the second half they were out manned their star forward Reid Travis was out with an injury. Travis re-injured his shoulder in practice and the Cardinal do not have a date when Travis will be ready to return. So the Cardinal have their work cut out for them to make up for his absence.
The Cardinal play host to Washington State on Thursday night at Maples pavilion.
