The way this season has gone for the San Francisco 49ers Chip Kelly is head coach by all accounts by the way it’s suppose to work. The burden falls on the head coach he’s the guy who gets the blame when things go bad and gets praise when things go well. Kelly will get some blame but I can’t think of specifically anything that happened or any play calling that he did or didn’t do that would make you say “oh my goodness we lost a game because of him” there hasn’t been no moment like that.
Yeah sure Kelly hasn’t coached circles around anyone but everybody still wishes that former head coach Jim Harbaugh were here as we all know he was a winning coach. In terms of planning and play calling in terms of motivating and coaching guys Kelly hasn’t done anything that caused the 49ers to lose games. He’s not an awful coach he had a few successful seasons in Philadelphia.
