Cleveland looks like they can do no wrong in this World Series. No doubt with the series 3-2 Cleveland the Cubs are running out of time and who may have to wait another generation to get another opportunity to win this one if they can scrape up two wins in Cleveland. Cleveland pitcher Corey Kluber has dominated Chicago in this series and is the top candidate to win the MVP for the series. Kluber puts a whole new meaning in the phrase “fear the beard.”
For the Cubs and manager Joe Maddon they knew this was a series for the taking but after losing games four and five the Cubs hopes have to sink a little bit. Maddon gave the club Sunday off from batting practice and told the players to come to the park no later than 5:00PM for game five. They responded and are looking forward to a game six back in Cleveland after squeaking out the one run win at Wrigley on Sunday 3-2.
