MLB Championship Series podcast with Daniel Dullum: Does the buck stop with Giants CEO or with his base coaches in team’s break down

AP photo: Day of reckoning SF Giants brass left to right CEO Larry Baer, Sr vice president Bobby Evans, vice president of baseball operations Brian Sabean, and  manager Bruce Bochy  last Thursday during press conference at AT&T Park saying they’ll start their search for a closer in the off season

On the MLB podcast with Daniel,

The San Francisco Giants brass fired two of it’s base coaches this past week first base coach Bill Hayes and third base coach Roberto Kelly. The Giants had a post season melt down as it’s well documented and witnessed in game four of the NLDS against the Chicago Cubs when the Giants relievers of Javier Lopez and closer Sergio Romo struggled to put out the Cubs fire.  The Giants also had that miserable second half of the season.

So where does the buck stop in the Giants organization? Does it stop with Hayes and Kelly? How about Giants manager Bruce Bochy who took this team to three World Series and won all three? Or general manager Bobby Evans and Giants vice president Brian Sabean who helped build those winning championship teams? The buck should stop at the top where the final decisions are made with team CEO Larry Baer. Baer had chances to make those final decisions after the All Star break, they could have shopped for a new reliever, or when they noticed something was wrong with their relief pitching and the struggles the team had going from the second half to the post season.

Plus Daniel discusses the Cleveland-Toronto ALCS and the Chicago-Los Angeles series. Also Daniel’s picks for the World Series
