The San Francisco Giants gained a game on the NY Mets who were idle on Thursday the Giants are now one game out of first in the Wild Card race. Right now the Giants hold the second spot in the NL Wild Card and have three games left all with the Los Angeles Dodgers Tony talks about the Giants chances to get past the Dodgers and to get a wild card birth.

The Seattle Mainers took the first of four games with the Oakland A’s in their chase to catch the Baltimore Orioles in the AL Wild Card. The M’s are two games back of the Orioles and their three games back of the first place Toronto Blue Jays. The A’s only have next season to look forward to and the positive side of it is the A’s have a lot of new prospects who have a lot of promise.
