On the 49ers podcast with Joe Lami, Colin Kaepernick’s statement about not standing at attention during the national anthem because he won’t stand for a flag that oppresses it’s own citizen’s who are black. Kaepernick while taking a lot of criticism of the stand or in this case non stand will stick with his commitment. Kaepernick who had a rough game on Friday at Levis Stadium throwing for only 14 yards and completing two passes.

Kaepernick has missed three off season practices due to three off season surgeries. Also Kaepernick has missed the first two games of the exhibition due to shoulder injuries but played Friday night in a game that the 49ers were defeated against the Green Bay Packers. The 49ers Blaine Gabbert had two series. With a completion to tight end Garret Celek on the second drive and a five series drive that scored wide receiver Quinton Patton.
