On the Giants podcast Washington Nationals starter Tanner Roark has been really tough on the Giants this season and Sunday would be the last time the Giants will face him this season Roark dominated the Giants with a 1-0 shutout win. Roark got the win over the Giants two weeks ago at AT&T Park. The tough part about Sunday’s game pitcher Giants Madison Bumgarner pitched a two hitter only to lose 1-0. That’s about as tough to lose as you can imagine.
There was a lot riding on Sunday’s game in DC. This is the game that will swing towards the home field advantage in post season in that particular series in the NL Playoffs if these two teams meet each other. That was a tough loss for the Giants and they’re going to have to bounce back.
