On the Giants podcast with Michael Duca, the Giants pitcher Johnny Cueto is headed to the All-Star game in San Diego and rightfully so after accomplishing 16 wins out of 18 games. Cueto was in full command on Wednesday night against the Colorado Rockies with a 5-1 victory. Cueto is noted for throwing in so many different ways to keep hitters off balance that would amount to 20 different varieties of pitches.

The Giants Brandon Crawford leads National League shortstops in hitting and is not an All-Star that problem could be alleviated if someone on the NL roster can’t make it it would sure create an opportunity for Crawford who was definitely overlooked for All Star selection.
