On the A’s podcast with Jerry, the Oakland A’s had a disastrous road trip before coming back to Oakland on Monday night to host the Texas Rangers at the Oakland Coliseum. The A’s have lost seven in a row to go 11 games under .500 and the A’s were able to salvage one yesterday with a win over the Cincinnati Reds. With that win the A’s are now ten games under .500 as they host the Rangers in this four game series.

Adrian Beltre’ (out with hamstring pull), Mitch Mooreland, Roughned Odor, Jurickson Profar, lead the Rangers into Oakland for the four game series. For the A’s and Rangers the pitching matches on Monday the Rangers will start Cesar Ramos 1-2 ERA 3.58 for the Oakland A’s Sean Manaea 2-4 ERA; On Tuesday the Rangers will start Martin Perez 5-4 ERA 3.22 for the A’s Erik Surkamp (0-3); and for Wednesday the Rangers are going with Derek Holland 5-5 ERA 4.87 for the A’s Sonny Gray 3-6.
