On the MLB podcast with Tony the San Francisco Giants got a couple of bad breaks on Wednesday when they lost a one run 11 inning ball game to the Atlanta Braves the club also lost Hunter Pence to a hamstring injury as he was running out a base hit. Giants reliever Santiago Cassilla had blown a save as the Braves forced extra innings. In the 11th the Braves Freddie Freeman hit a walk off home run to give the Braves the 5-4 win off Giant reliever Derek Law.
The A’s starter Sean Manaea is coming around he picked up his second win now (2-3) and the A’s got swept by the Twins. Manaea had a great outing going six innings, five hits, one run, three walks, and eight strike outs for the A’s.
