On the Oakland A’s podcast with Jerry Feitelberg A’s starter Eric Surkamp was not in the best of moods after getting rocked by the Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday ending the three game series with the mighty Toronto Blue Jays. This also impacted with the Surkamp picking up his second loss of the season. Surkamp pitched for 4.2 innings surrendered nine hits and six runs. He gave up four runs in the bottom of the third and two in the bottom of the fourth inning.
“I just got my ass kicked pretty much all day. That’s all there is to it. They’re a good line up, and if you make mistakes they’re going to make you pay for it.” said Surkamp. The A’s are looking to bring reliever Jessie Hahn up to shore up their relief help. The A’s have four games that started on Monday night with the Detroit Tigers.
