SACRAMENTO–The last thing that we would be talking about on this podcast was Kings head coach George Karl keeping his job. The number of sources that were reporting that Karl was done were multiple, very credible, very high level sources the kind of sources that the media gets inside information.

You never want to say guys are banned from inside information but that kind of good information. It looked like for all practical purposes that Karl was going to get fired at lunchtime today. The Kings were going to have him done because there was no sense in coaching the team in Philadelphia because it was going to add insult to injury.
