SACRAMENTO–The Kings had a short homestand against the Houston Rockets last Tuesday night and everybody was a little concerned the Rockets beat them up pretty good particularly in the fourth quarter at Sleep Train Arena. That was the game that followed immediately in Mexico City.
Houston came right up and Sacramento took a little different tact in this game and the Kings were going to let James Harden do his thing and the Kings were going to stop everybody else. Well it worked, Harden scored 33 but Dwight Howard had only four points in the ball game.
Howard had only four rebounds, the Kings concentrated on everybody else they held Houston to 41.5 percent shooting from the floor. They shot right at them for 31 percent for a three pointers and the Rockets the number one three point shooting team in the NBA. The Kings really came out on offense as four the five starters scored in double figures as the Kings beat the Rockets in that contest 107-97.
