On the Stanford Cardinal podcast with Michael R:

#1 Going back to Dec 3rd when the Cardinal played their last game, the Cardinal (4-4, 0-0 Pac-12) attacked their guest the San Diego Toreros (6-3, 0-0 WCC), and chased them all around the Farm in a health 88-64 win to hit the .500 mark.

#2 Senior forward Brandon Angel led the way for Stanford, with 25 points and 8 rebounds. He also got the party started with a three-pointer, demarking the first points of the game. The 3-0 lead was a precursor for the rest of the battle, as the Cardinal were in front from that point on to the final whistle.

#3 Michael, the Cardinal dominated the Toreros in both halves in the first 43-27 and 45-37. Talk about how Stanford really opened up on the offense.

#4 For the Toreros they just couldn’t get anything going on offense with leading scorers Deuce Turner 12 points followed by Drago Lungu and Deven Dahlke both with 11 points. But it just wasn’t enough for San Diego just to stay in the game.

#5 Stanford will next be in action at Maples Sunday, December 17, 2 PM PDT, hosting the Idaho Vandals. Michael the Vandals have won three straight and are 7-4. The Cardinal have lost three of their last four games and are 4-4. The Cardinal have the home floor. How do you see this match considering neither team has seen each other this season.

On the Stanford Cardinal podcast with Michael Roberson:

#1 How tough is it that the Stanford Cardinal (2-6) have their last two road games against the Washington State Cougars (4-4) tonight and Oregon State next week both on the road.

#2 These will be the last two Pac 12 road games that Stanford will have as the break of up of the Pac 12 starts next season. Stanford head coach Troy Taylor said it’s painful and disappointing that it’s ending this way.

#3 The Cougars were 4-0 in September but have cooled off immensely having lost four straight games all in the month of October.

#4 The Cougars have won the last six games against the Stanford. Last season the Cougars clobbered the Cardinal 52-14 at Stanford Stadium. The weather forecast for tonight in Pullman calls for rain.

#5 Michael, with the field being wet and the ball being wet as well how do you see the Cardinal quarterback Anthony Daniels getting a good grip on the ball for quick passes.

#2 The Cardinal lost their last game to the Oregon Ducks at Stanford 42-6 at Stanford Stadium on Saturday. The Stanford defense has to be a concern they allowed the flood gates to open as the Ducks 14 points in the second quarter and 21 in the third quarter.

#3 The story was all Bo Nix the Ducks quarterback as the Cardinal pass rush couldn’t lay a glove on him and Nix had time to throw against the Cardinal.

#4 Nix was 27-32 for 290 yards and four touchdowns. The Ducks rally was so upbeat rather than run up the score on Stanford in the fourth quarter the Ducks went to back up quarterback Ty Thompson who threw for one pass for eight yards.

#5 The Cardinals face the Buffaloes Fri Oct 13th in Colorado for a rare Friday night game. Both teams are coming in hungry as the Cardinal lost their last four and the Buffaloes their last two. Colorado have home field how do you see this match up Friday night?
