#1 Macklin Celebrini scored two goals and got an assist on Thursday night against the St Louis Blues at the Enterprise Center in St Louis there is little doubt in the Sharks wins this season that Celebrini has been the key to a large number of the Sharks victories.

#2 Tyler Toffoli and Jake Walman both scored for San Jose. So the Sharks also have been getting help from a different set of players on offense each night.

#3 The Sharks were on a three game losing streak before playing the Blues on Thursday. They did have some tough customers on this last road trip losing to Tampa Bay, Florida, and Carolina before snapping the skid against St Louis.

#4 The Sharks got great goaltending on Thursday from Alexandar Georgiev who stopped 17 Blues shots for the win.

#5 It’s back to San Jose tonight and the Utah Hockey Club. Utah is rolling they have won six of their last ten games and defeated the Colorado Avalanche in their last game on Thursday 4-1. #1 The Minnesota Wild’s Matt Boldy scored two goals. Kirill Kaprizov had three assists as the San Jose Sharks lost 5-2 on home ice on Thursday night.

#2 The Wild Mats Zuccarello scored a second period goal on a no look pass from Kaprizov that had Zuccarello went through numerous defenders to score the go ahead as the Wild took the lead 2-1.

#3 It was also a thrilling night for the Sharks Macklin Celebrini who scored twice for all of the Sharks scoring. Once in the second period at 4:36 and his second goal of the night at 16:08 in the third period. Not a bad night’s work for the NHL first round draft pick?

#4 Despite Celebrini’s two goal effort the Sharks still couldn’t stop the Wild attack. In the third period with the Wild ahead 3-1 the Wild picked up two more goals one from James Brodin at 6:02 and Matt Boldy’s second goal of the night at 18:25 to put the final touches for the win.

#5 The Sharks open with a five game east coast swing starting in New Jersey this Sunday at 4:30pm PST. New Jersey has won four of their last five games. In their last game the Devils defeated the Montreal Canadiens 5-3 and got two goals from Jesper Bratt. Mary Lisa how do you see this one?

#1 San Jose Sharks Will Smith who scored twice on Thursday night against the Chicago Blackhawks in a 3-2 win inspiring the Sharks who picked up their third straight win at SAP Center.

#2 After losing nine straight the Sharks winning three straight face a Blackhawks teams who were struggling losing five of their last six games.

#3 Smith had such a good game in the middle of the second period scored what would be the winning goal with a wrister on a shot that deflected for a goal off the crossbar.

#4 Mary, talk about the goaltenders in this one for the Blackhawks Petr Mrazek stopped 26 of 29 shots and allowed three goals for the Sharks MacKenzie Blackwood stopped 26 of 28 shots and allowed two goals in a very close game.

#5 The Sharks host the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday night for a 7:00pm PT. The Canucks after winning three straight have dropped their last two on Monday night to the Carolina Hurricanes in overtime 4-3 and getting shellacked by the New Jersey Devils at Rogers Centre in Vancouver 6-0. The Sharks are coming into Saturday’s game with momentum and the Canucks are coming off a couple of loses how do you see this one tonight?

#1 The San Jose Sharks have some minor injuries they incurred after their pre season game against the Anaheim last Tuesday in San Jose. William Eklund, Mikael Granlund, and Matt Benning are all day to day.

#2 Sharks rookie Macklin Celebrini’s words ring like it was spoken by a veteran said that the Sharks should hate to lose games even if it’s pre season and that losing is not acceptable.

#3 Celebrini it should be noted that he’s the last player off the off after a practice. One of the reasons why he’s the number one NHL draft pick. Celebrini comes to work even in practice as the old saying goes practice makes perfect and he puts in the extra work.

#4 Mikael Gralund who is nursing an injury is day to day talked about what it’s been like in camp saying he could feel the energy and see the Sharks going somewhere this season. Granlund said having someone like Celebrini around is exciting and he brings a positive dimension to the team.

#5 The Sharks Barclay Goodrow said it’s exciting to be back in San Jose and he had a lot of good memories. Goodrow said he’s also excited about the new season coming up. Goodrow broke in with the Sharks in the 2014-15 season and left in 2019-20 and returned for this 2024-25 season and said he’s happy to be back in San Jose.

#1 Mary Lisa, Macklin Celebrini’s father Rick made it clear that he’s excited that Celebrini has a great shot at going to the San Jose Sharks as the number one draft pick. Fans in San Jose are excited about the prospect of Celebrini joining the Sharks and possibly changing the direction of the team who has struggled the last two seasons.

#2 The Sharks had a long long season finishing like last season in last place. They play their last home game of the season tonight against the Minnesota Wild at SAP Center and it’s another off season to regroup and see what direction their going for next season.

#3 You look at the job that goaltender Devin Cooley has done in net with a win he stopped the mighty St Louis Blues back on Apr 6th in overtime with 34 saves and allowed two goals in the Sharks one goal win 3-2.

#4 Mary Lisa, in Seattle last Thursday Cooley once again kept the Sharks in it with some great work between the pipes stopping 49 shots and allowing just one goal. Cooley once again impresses in his second outing.

#5 Last home game for the Sharks with the Wild game is a sell out. The Wild are sixth in the NHL Central at 37-33-9 and have lost their last two games. The Sharks are looking to start MacKenzie Blackwood in net tonight talk about how you see this match up.

#1 Mary Lisa, In the San Jose Sharks (15-35-5) last game against the Vegas Golden Knights (32-17-6) at SAP Center in San Jose on Mon Feb 19th the Knights put a whooping on San Jose shutting them out 4-0.

#2 The Knights goaltender Logan Thompson got the shutout against the Sharks he stopped all 29 shots. For Thompson it was his fourth career shutout.

#3 The Knights Mason Morelli got a goal and an assist and the win was a season sweep over the Sharks.

#4 The Knights came right out of the gate with three goals in the first period and pretty much just took the Sharks out of their game.

#5 The Sharks host the Nashville Predators tonight at SAP Center in San Jose for a 7pm face off at SAP Center. The Predators are fifth in the Western Conference and have won three straight games and won five of their last ten games. How do you see this match up.

#1 The San Jose Sharks are on a three game losing steak and took a tough 2-1 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks in their last game on Tuesday at the United Center.

#2 The Blackhawks Boris Katchouk scored in the ninth round of the shootout and the Sharks Filip Zadina put on a shot on the Blackhawks goaltender Petr Mrazek who made a save to prevent the Sharks to get a shootout goal.

#3 Mrazek said that he was surprised that the shootout went nine rounds it did show Mrazek that there was no quit with the Sharks at least in this game where they wanted badly to get this win.

#4 The host the Anaheim Ducks tonight and they take a three game losing streak into SAP Center. The Ducks have also been struggling they have lost seven of their last ten games. Face off is 7:30pm PT.

#5 Mary, I have to ask you about long time sports publication Sports Illustrated who for many years did spectacular photography of NHL hockey has folded. It was announced that SI has laid off most of their editors and writers and staff. SI was the standard in sports publication with it’s weekly publications. Arena
Group pays for the rights to print SI and didn’t pay owner Authentic Brands Group the $3.75 million payment. Arena Group pays $15 million a year to ABG.

#1 The Sharks lost on home ice on Thursday night to the Coyotes for their fourth straight loss 5-2 at SAP Center.

#2 San Jose outshot Arizona 12-7 in the first period it was a display that the Sharks had their foot on the necks of the Coyotes, but the goalies were on point keeping it scoreless. 

#3 The second period was rough for the Sharks as the Coyotes offense went to work getting three goals and taking a 3-1 lead.

#4 The Coyotes kept it up scoring two more goals and came away with a three goal 5-2 win for the Sharks fourth consecutive loss.

#5 The Sharks will try and hope that a change of scenery will be beneficial when the open the first of two road games on Saturday in Vancouver and then in head to the Southland and face the Los Angeles Kings on Wednesday night at Crypto.com Arena. How do you see these match ups.

#2 San Jose Sharks goaltender Kaapo Kahkonen stopped 44 shots and allowed three goals in the 6-3 San Jose win.

#3 Mikael Granlund scored a goal and had two assists and William Eklund scored for San Jose to help San Jose pick up their first road win of the season now with a 1-10-0 road record.

#1 Mary Lisa the San Jose Sharks (3-13-1) lit up the lamp against St Louis Blues (8-6-1) for four goals in the second period on Thursday night at SAP Center in San Jose.

#2 The Sharks got scoring from Luke Lunin, Givani Smith and William Eklund with a goal each and Mike Hoffman added two goals this is the kind of offense the Sharks have not seen too much of this early season.
