#1 Ayliah Boston of the South Carolina Gamecocks (36-0) led with 22 points and ten rebounds and Zia Cooke scored 18 points as the Gamecocks in the second quarter left the Maryland Terrapins (28-7) in the dust to advance to the Final Four with a 86-75 win on Monday night.

#2 South Carolina won for their 36th consecutive game in a row and once again head coach Dawn Staley’s game plan to have Boston and Cooke lead the way proved effective and Terrapins really didn’t have a chance at any offensive comeback.

#3 Michael, most schools who face who go in and face the Gamecocks know that they’re going to have their hands full in the case of the Terrapins did they just plain get beat or did they just lose focus on shutting South Carolina’s game down.

#4 The Virginia Tech Hokies (31-4) also advances to the Final Four with a ten point win over the Ohio State Buckeyes (28-8) in a ten point win Elizabeth Kitley led with 25 points followed up with Georgia Amoore who had 24 points.

#5 Michael let’s get your take on the Final Four and who you like South Carolina and Iowa and in the other match up LSU and Virginia Tech.

#1 Michelle, what happened to Notre Dame (11-2) in the Fiesta Bowl, the Fighting Irish had a 21 point lead and let it slip away. The number one ranked team falls to the Oklahoma State Cowboys (12-2). The Cowboys roared back with 17 points in the third quarter and seven in the fourth to just edge the Fighting Irish 37-35.

#2 What a finish at the Rose Bowl on Saturday. With the Utah Utes (10-4) ahead in the first half the Ohio State Buckeyes (11-2). The Buckeyes rallied in the second half behind running back Jaxon Smith-Njigba who ran for 347 yards and scored three touchdowns. With Ohio State up 46-45 Buckeyes kicker Noah Ruggles hit a 19 yard field goal to get the Buckeyes up by four in the closing second for a 49-45 win.

#3 No.1 Alabama Crimson Tide gets a win over fourth ranked Cincinnati Bearcats 27-6. Alabama quarterback Bryce Young threw for 181 yards for three touchdowns and one interception. The Crimson Tide had a seven point first quarter and a ten point second quarter.

#1 The No.14 Utah Utes (10-3) on Friday night left very little doubt who is the best team in the Pac 12 with a crushing win over the No.10 Oregon Ducks (10-3) 38-7 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. For Utah quarterback Cameron Rising 170 yards passing and one touchdown pass Rising kept the run game busy all evening with two touchdowns by running back Tavion Thomas.

#2 Notre Dame defensive coordinator Marcus Freeman was named head coach replacing Brian Kelly. Freeman who went through the hiring process was the highly anticipated candidate to win the job and was officially hired as of Friday. Tell us your thoughts on Notre Dame’s hiring of Freeman?

#3 Quinn Ewers who is a top ranked quarterback at Ohio State enters the transfer portal and is considering transferring to Texas, Texas A&M, or Texas Tech. Ewers has been called a trailblazer and has made over $1 million for his likeness and endorsements.

#1 Former NFL great and Hall of Famer and current head coach at Jackson State Deion Sanders insists that everyone call him coach that includes media, alumni, fans, and especially his players. Sanders said that doctors, nurses, and other have earned their title and so has he. Sanders even walked out on a media scrum when a reporter who refused to to address him as coach. Is Sanders correct on insisting that he be called coach?

#2 Michelle, how surprising is it that the Ohio State Buckeyes ranked #3 lost to #12 Oregon 35-28. The Ducks quarterback Anthony Brown threw 17 for 35 for 236 yards and two touchdowns. The Ducks scored for 14 points in each of the second and third quarters and the Buckeyes just couldn’t get any offense going.

#3 For Michigan State Spartans (2-0) no contest on Saturday as they upended Youngstown State Penguins (1-1) 42-14. The Spartans quarterback Payton Thorne was throwing all day the only time he got any rest was when his back up Anthony Russo came in at the end of the game to give him a rest. Thorne was 15 for 21 for 280 yards and had four touchdowns.
