#1 Charlie, the beaning of the Texas Rangers Adolis Garcia by Houston Astros pitcher Bryan Abreu resulted in Abreu facing a two game suspension for what six umpires said was an intentional pitch in game 5 of the ALCS on Friday night.

#2 How would Abreu’s suspension impact the Astros as they host the Rangers for game 6 tonight at Minute Maid Field?

#3 Astros manager Dusty Baker said it was the maddest that’s he been a in long time after arguing the ejection of Abreu and getting kicked out of the game.

#4 The Astros took all three games in Arlington after losing the first two in Houston. Now games 6 and 7 return to Houston can the Astros use Minute Maid Field to their advantage or do you see it being another struggle for the Astros trying to win on their home field again against Bruce Bochy and the Rangers.

#5 Starting pitchers for the game six for the Rangers Nathan Eovaldi (3-0 ERA 2.29) and for the Astros Framber Valdez (0-2 ERA 11.57) a 5:03pm PT first pitch at Minute Maid Field in Houston.

#1 New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone will return next season. Boone signed for a three contract and has an option for 2025. Yankees managing partner Hal Steinbrenner said that Boone has acumen and brings respect in the clubhouse.

#2 Boone and the Yankees finished in third in the AL East and lost to the Boston Red Sox in the Wild Card game that put Boone’s future with the Yankees in jeopardy. Steinbrenner felt that Boone had the respect of the players to return and make a run at the post season.

#3 Jessica turning to the NBA the Brooklyn Nets and the Milwaukee Bucks who battled in an opening night game in Milwaukee. The Bucks held the lead for pretty much of the game later to win it 127-104. It’s early to tell but without Kyrie Irving in for the Nets does his absence from the team for Covid-19 protocol issues have an impact on the team?

#4 Taking a look at the MLB post season. The Atlanta Braves have had such a hold on the Dodgers winning the first two games of the series by two walk off hits in the ninth in Atlanta. The Braves taking a significant lead on the Dodgers on Tuesday night 5-2 in Los Angeles. The Dodgers made a comeback 6-5 to win game 3 with a 2-1 Braves margin. The Braves now with a 3-1 series lead won a laugher in game 4 on Wednesday night need one more win to sweep the series.

#5 It’s been a series the Houston Astros have a 3-2 lead on the Boston Red Sox taking a 9-1 laugher in Boston in game 5. The Astros had their biggest inning in the top of the sixth scoring five runs and now returning to Houston on Friday night for game 6 and they are the brink of eliminating the Red Sox needing just one more win.

On That’s Amaury’s News and Commentary:

#1 Amaury, how hard, how unbelievable is it that the Los Angeles Dodgers (0-2) are down in the first two games of the NLCS to the Atlanta Braves (2-0). In both loses the Dodgers have lost by a run and on walks off hits.

#2 Talk about Kyle Schwarber of the Boston Red Sox parked one in the Fenway Park bleachers for a grand slam homer in the bottom of the second inning off Houston Astros starter Jose Urquidy. The Red Sox have been somewhat the surprise team in the post season they win game 12-3 and now are in front of the Astros 2-1.

#3 Turning to football, Las Vegas Raiders interim head coach Rich Bisaccia got off to a good start with a convincing 34-24 win over the Denver Broncos last Sunday at Empower Stadium to improve the Raiders record to 4-2 it had to take off some of the pressure on the Raiders after the Jon Gruden debacle.

#4 Turning to Pac 12 football Washington State Cougars head coach Nick Rolovich was fired by the university for refusing to take a Covid-19 vaccination shot. Some of the Cougars assistant coaches also were let go as they too refused to get vaccinated. Washington State employees are required to take the Covid-19 shot failure resulted in their termination.

#5 In the NHL the San Jose Sharks got their first victory on opening night at SAP Center over the visiting Winnipeg Jets as the Sharks embark on this current five game road trip they will come back for to San Jose face Montreal on Thu 28 and Winnipeg on Sat 30th. Amaury I know you have the 30th circled a big day for the Sharks as they will broadcast their first Spanish televised game that night with play by play announcer Jesus Zarate and yourself with color analysis.

#4 The Houston Astros starter pitched well except for that four run first inning going seven innings, five hits, four runs earned, and nine strike outs.

#5 The Astros lead the series 3-2 can the Yankees pull another ace from their sleeve in tonight’s elimination game in Houston in game six?
